A great old neighborhood bar, with super friendly service, good prices on drinks, and a limited but very good selection of food. I had their Super, which is a cheese dog wrapped in crispy bacon... incredible! Older crowd during the earlier hours, and ESU crowd later. With a visit.
First time visiting in well over 20 years, and it looks and feels exactly the same, which added to the outstanding experience. The bartender, Duke, was a great guy and always had a cold beer ready. I highly recommend Rudy's!
From the minute we walked in we felt like we belonged here. The other patrons and staff were so nice. We had an honest solid hot dog, a burger, and a liverwurst sandwich of all things! Our meal and two beers were $20. What a deal. The locals were very inclusive and welcomed us. It's a neighborhood bar for crying out loud so don't expect like fancy atmosphere. Cash only but they have an ATM
