I loved this place the first time I stopped by. But unfortunately my opinion has gone down since you took off everything vegan off your menu :( We stopped by with friends and were ready to spend money on food but unfortunately there were no options available even though your menu listed them. Loved the staff, very friendly and kind but unfortunately will not be returning due to lack of options :( very sad.

From the location to the atmosphere, SOTE is a must visit if you are in the Pocono area. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on everything from their drinks to the awesome food. The unique menu offers everything you never knew you wanted, from an (alcoholic) Fruity Pebble milkshake to a deliciously creative waffle pressed chicken sandwich. The worst part about going to SOTE is not having the room to try the entire menu…. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.Don’t forget to compliment the chef!!!6 OUT OF 5 stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Way overpriced for the experience. Food was mediocre at best. My son and fiance ordered the tavern burgers. The burgers were doused in beer cheese which made the burger a soppy mess. The beer cheese was likely to take away from the tasteless burger. My older son got the chipotle Mac n cheese which was close to inedible. Way too spicy. When you have a chipotle Mac the spice is supposed be subtle. My son didn't get through it. It was making him sick. We ordered dessert to try and compensate for the less than stellar meal. All it did was add to an already ridiculously underwhelming and overpriced meal. The one positive was the peach bourbon drink I had which was delightful. Had to have three to forget about what I was about to pay for the food. Overall, if you know good food this ain't it. You're going to leave dissatisfied.

Here Today Gone 2 morrow RVing

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't but 4 people here 2 at the bar and my wife and I at a table. First appearance pulling into the parking lot was easy and the paved lot had plenty of spots. The from the building it looks very impressive and rich with add ons like the copper roof and large modern windows. Being it wasn't busy we were seated immediately. Looking at the menu it stated it was a dinner menu. There wasn't many options. In my opinion there was just bar type food. I ordered the filet country fried steak. The food quality was fresh but the breading had no flavor nor did it have enough gravy. We don't drink and soda was $3.50 with no free refills. Over all staff was nice atmosphere was great as well. But pricey and food was bland.

This is a nice spot but the food is mediocre. My Lobster roll had none of the flavors described and the bun was not toasted and was dry. The crab fries were extremely salty. The best part was the milkshake. My husband liked his sandwich but his fries also had waaaaay too much salt.

Wonderful experience at Sote Gastropub! Even being short staffed they put their all into it! Being super busy last night our food came out pretty fast being that we were a party of 7!! I had the pineapple teriyaki wings which were delicious!! I also had the chicken dinner on a bun which i did not get a picture of… It was tasty and filling! Management went above and beyond helping his staff and making sure all the guest were accommodated! Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!

SOTE stands for Salt Of The Earth and is a welcomed culinary delight on Route 209. The food menu is EXCITING and pairs well with a well stocked sophisticated beer/wine /drink list. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were happy with our initial experience and returned within a week for more!Recommended

This place is AMAZING! Second time I've been and I can't wait to go back! Service is amazing and food is out of this world! True gastropub with an amazing selection.

Great decor and nice vibe. Food was extremely hit or miss. Service was very good, but overall the food looks better than it tastes. I wanted to go higher but this is a very average meal. Very eclectic beer selection though so nice spot for drinks and some apps.

Seriously, run don’t walk to this amazing gem in the Poconos. Do yourself a favor and order the Irish Chicken Chili Nachos. They are out of this world amazing! My husband and daughter both said their burgers were the best they’ve ever had. Soooooo yummy!

Yo the fried chicken and red velvet pancakes were the bomb. The breading on the chicken was the best I've ever had. The red velvet pancakes were a spin off of waffles.. so yummy. Definitely recommend going for sure

Decided to try Sote Gastropub and loved it! We had Sunday brunch. Menu choices are wonderful, even for vegetarians. I had pancakes with berries and real maple syrup. My husband had the spinach mushroom gruyere omelet. I also ordered a berry-mosa. Food quality was excellent. We live an hour away but will be back again to try the dinner menu. The restaurant is spacious and modern inside, with a nice large bar in the center. Service was great and we met the chef too. I highly recommend Sote.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s really hard to know what to order. The menu is very limited and many of the selections are unfamiliar. I’ve ordered a few dishes that I sent back because, for me, they were not edible. Other times I have been able to find something to try. The Southern Spring Rolls are edible though not that good. The fried green tomatoes are the only dish I have found consistently good. When 570 was here the bar was packed. Now it’s ghost. Most of my family and friends who live local do not come because of the high prices and lack of good food. Though I do like nouvelle cuisine i have not found much on the menu to order. Hopefully the new owner will realize that offering some more local friendly cuisine and more entertainment could bring this spot back to what it once was.

Had a reservation for 7:45 for 4, was seated at 7:30. Waited 15 minutes to get our drink and order taken. Then, a group of 6+ and one party of 2 was seated behind us, got their order taken right away. They received their food and drinks, completed their meals and were chatting when we still didn't get ANY food. We were told "a few more minutes". We waited about 10 minutes after and got up and left at 8:40pm. My mother in law felt bad and waited to pay for her drink (alcoholic). She told the waitress and manager about the situation andd they still made her pay FULL PRICE ($14) for an unfinished beverage and a soda and told her how short staff they were (which is completely understandable, but 2 tables that came in after us got their food and finished). Unacceptable. So glad I got a nice dinner out ? Wawa it is!
