The Roasted Tomato

I really can't believe how horrible this bar is! Really, really, amazing! They have Yuengling and Coors Light on tap, but they foam too much when they try to pour one, so you can't buy one! I asked for a drink list, but there is none! There is none. There is none? I stared blankly at their liquor choices, but not a single one would be decent on the rocks. Genuinely don't know how to order here! I got a sad Coors in a bottle and got sadder watching Fox News (they keep the volume at max) and went back to my room. I'm so sad now, I don't know what to do.

My husband and I always stay at the Quality Inn when we come to town. Getting stuck indoors from a rain storm, we decided to give the Roasted Tomato a try for dinner. Oh My Goodness! Their Cajun chicken pasta dinner is amazing! Ted, the bartender was great, so friendly and funny. Tim the chef would come out and speak with us, so humble when I bragged on his pasta dish. Right now, the two run the show here, stop by and see them. You won't be sorry. Thank you both for an amazing meal and experience.

stopped here while hiking the appalachian trail and in 1300 miles this was one of the best places to eat so far with great customer service

Driving cross country and stopped in for dinner before we hit the motel. Ted made us feel so at home. COLD tap beer and Great home cooked food and fresh dessert. I got the dinner special.

The place is a little rundown and a little outdated, but the food is absolutely stunning. The chef and waiter Ted were very friendly and provided excellent service. Total hidden gem! :)

We stopped for the night to stay at The Quality Inn in East Stroudsburg. Attached to the hotel was a diamond in the rough Bar and Grill called The Roasted Tomato. From the service, the food was absolutely delicious.

I really enjoyed the service but, what I experienced was an awkward moment where the chef came from the kitchen and berated the bartender loudly and disrespectively. I was with my children. And they heard the chef loudly put down the bartender over specials.

Not open during advertised hours. Has an open sign in the window and brochure says open but they said “no food” when we walked in

Our bartender/server couldn't have been nicer ! Great service.
