This is a solid, standard American diner in the heart of York. Real blue-collar feel here. Loved the fact there’s a 24/7 breakfast menu provided. I got chicken Parmesan and it hit the spot. Frustrating I usually have a good experience however today my bill was just incorrect and after I paid the bill and they ran my credit card I noticed it was incorrect and I was charged the wrong price and I asked the girl to fix it and she was the assistant manager and said she could not fix it and It would have to wait till the manager can fix it tomorrow ... what's the point of an assistant manager if she can't adjust an incorrect bill. Then, after I said, that sounded kind of crazy, strange ridiculous she said well I could take the cash out of the drawer and I said well, that would've been my suggestion to offer in the first place.- because I kept pursuing the mistake ... I said I probably won't be back. She said have a nice day. I mean really can you believe this it was a simple request. I was friendly about it and nice at first but when she said she really couldn't do anything about it then I got agitated because that's what an assistant manager should be there for so she took the time to re-ring it back up to see what the price should've been and let me know what it should've been, but yet she wasn't willing to fix it! It was like I had to beg her to fix it ! By then I just said forget about it - I was so frustrated over what should have been a simple fix .
