Manager was so rude. We came in with a group of 10 and was told she would not serve that many people and told us to go else where. She was rude to the other employees working. At one point she pushed a chair at a customer and was swearing behind the bar. An employee expressed her discontent and said all employees that start quit because of her. Atmosphere was beautiful but will not return because of this employee. She does not deserve to have a job in this industry. See “owner” response for example of the treatment at this facility. Unprofessional and rude
A beautiful setting on Edindoro Lake.
Our server Jeanette was friendly and attentive.
This place has amazing food, amazing service and a fantastic atmosphere. I absolutely love it. We make the trip from Girard often because we love it so much!
If I could give a 0, I would. Went there to enjoy the beautiful day and have some drinks. Ordered a mojito and waited 25 minutes for that. The server instead of coming over and telling me they had no mint for the mojito and asking to see what else I would like brings me a Caymen Jack mojito in a can. She says we didn't have mint so I brought this instead. I said I didn't want that and still got charged for the mojito. I asked if I could have a cherry vitamin water instead. That took another 20 minutes and when it was finally delivered it was made wrong. It tasted like a Shirley temple. I went up and asked the bartender at this point how she made the drink, after I waited over 5 minutes at the bar with only two people sitting at the bar and 6 servers standing around talking. She advised she made it with soda water not regular water. I waited an additional 10 minutes to get my drink corrected. When we finally got our bill it had a vitamin water, a Caymen Jack drink on there and a martini. I questioned why we were charged for a martini when we never had one of those and the server said well I charged you for the mojito. I said well a martini and a mojito are two different things and we never ordered a martini to begin with. She said oh ok. I have worked in the industry serving and bartending and was astonished by the lack of trying to make this right after the first and second mistake. I have visited this establishment in the past many times and haven't encountered this. I would hope they get the help and experience they will need for the up coming busy season.
I had the pleasure of attending a special event at Lakeside Promenade, even though they’re technically closed for the season, and it was absolutely amazing! Despite the chilly winter weather, the bar managed to create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make the event memorable, and you could feel the care they put into every detail.
The drinks were top-notch—just as good as I remember from the summer—and the event setup was perfect, making it easy to forget the cold and just enjoy the vibe. It’s clear that Lakeside Beach Bar isn’t just a seasonal spot; they know how to bring their magic year-round. Highly recommend keeping an eye out for their off-season events. I can’t wait to return when they fully reopen!

Plenty of space outside to walk around without feeling cramped.Very attentive wait staff. Fresh, clean, taps for draft beer lovers. and good bbq and burgers if that's your thing! Also safe walking distance to and from downtown. Definitely recommend giving this place a look.

First time trying it here…. Waited 20 minutes never even got asked for our drink order. Yes we were informed upon entry it might be a minute, but then we noticed 4 other tables that had not been waited on in addition to us with only one server…. then a new waitress came on staff, seated a table next to us ( way after we came in) and proceeded to take their order. Needless to say we walked out …,bummer beautiful view, poor service.

Genuinely disappointed on how everything turned out I’ve been to sunset grill many times and every time the food and everything was perfect food was fast service was great. Decided on coming here to just get it a try and it was horrible. First off the tables were all dirty and it was slow not to many people. Took forever for our food like an hour and a half at least. sat with an empty drink the whole time as well it’s like our server went home for an hour didn’t see her at all. Just for the food to be okay wasn’t anything to drive home about. I’ve been to restaurants that had bad service this by far gets #1 worst place I’ve been if I could give 0 stars I absolutely would well deaserved!

We both had brisket...yummy! Cornbread was done off best I've had. It felt like drinks and food were dispensed far from table... made it a little clunky even though our waitress was on the ball. We'll be back... there were a few items we wanted to try.
