Had a delicious lunch there with my parents and two kiddos (6 and 3). Lunchtime was amazing! Kiddos loved the french fries. Friendly staff.
Went here for a business lunch. Friendly, accommodating staff and good food. The mushroom soup is amazing. We had the grilled cheese with a burger inside, perogies, a salad, and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was great and filling. I looked around at the other tabkes as they got their food, and everything looked good. Will be back.
Just happened upon this place and took a chance. So pleasantly surprised in every aspect. Everything we ordered was so tasty. Very fair prices. Atmosphere was warm yet spacious. Outside seating and shade was also available in a garden setting. Service was awesome and swift. We will be back.
I highly recommend stopping here. The menu selection was great. The food was so good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
My husband and I went for breakfast early Sunday morning. The restaurant was not busy, as it had just opened for the day. We decided to have the breakfast buffet, and what a mistake that was. The entire buffet was awful. The "breakfast potatoes" were frozen round tater tots, the French toast sticks were something you'd expect from a fast-food place, the biscuits were more like hockey pucks and the gravy like glue. The bacon and sausage were awful. The scrambled eggs were tasteless. I thought of trying one of the cooked to order omelets, but after hearing the cook say to folks who were perusing the ingredients to choose from, "Are you just looking, or am I cooking an omelet here?" I was shocked by his rudeness and decided against an encounter with him. I watched as he cooked omelets, burning every one of them. For $17 per person, it was the biggest scam I've ever seen - inedible food, that wasn't worth $5.
Stopped here for breakfast in between my son’s baseball tournaments. The egg skillet, buttermilk pancakes and BBQ bene was delicious! We were surprised at how reasonable the prices were as well. They accommodated our party of 5 and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. If we play here again, we will definitely come back to eat.
Just had the most wonderful Easter brunch at the Hershey Bistro. Great quality food, great service and very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Hershey Bistro always crowded when we drive by, so decided to check it out. Awesome place, extensive menu, breakfast, lunch & dinner. Bring your own wine if you like. My husband had the meat loaf which was a huge portion & I had the quesadilla which was large enough to take half home. Menu held many wonderful choices & they sell COKE products which I prefer. We cannot wait to return.
Outstanding dessert! Dinner was excellent. We had a dessert to share and it couldn’t be more delicious! We’ll worth the trip to eat here!
My brother and I had breakfast at HB today. He loved his apple cinnamon French toast. I had the eggs benedict and was a little disappointed because the poached eggs were overcooked to the point they were hard boiled. Kelly, our server, offered to have them remade but they were still tasty, just not runny yolks like I'm used to. She offered to take my order off the bill, but I wasn't worried about that because it was still very good. When she brought us the bill they had taken my breakfast off the total. Great customer service!

Food and service is excellent. I prefer to dine at locally owned restaurants. Great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly
Yesterday was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a restaurant. I was at the restaurant with my 2 & 5 year old. My 5 year old was standing by me jumping up and down in excitement as I showed her how to make origami with her placemat. This older hostess comes over and bends down 6 inches from her face and points and yells at her to go sit down. I was horrified by the fact that she simply could have said she felt uncomfortableTO ME for safety and I would have handled it. Her yelling and pointing in my daughter's face was very inappropriate. She scared her out of her mind. My daughter started crying uncontrollably and I could not get her to calm down. She felt very unsafe. I asked our waitress to box up the food and get check because we could not stay because the older hostess yelled at my daughter and she couldn't stop crying. Waitress did not return in a timely matter so I decided we would just leave. I saw the Old lady with short hair, Grey highlights and gotti jewelry hostess on the way out and informed her that next time she should say something to the parent and let them handle it, every child is different, not to yell at someone's kid. The hostess said in a devil voice " I will say whatever I want to anyone's child" I realized then that she is crazy and just said well you will be happy to know we are leaving and will never return and will leave a review. This crazy old lady then followed us through the restaurant all the way to the door talking in her DEVIL voice about how "she raised 6 kids and they are better than my kids". I'm holding my 2 year old in my arms and my 5 year old is scared clinging to my leg and crying. I said to her you are scaring my children, stop following us. She still proceeded to follow and yell at us Until I went out the front door and literally shut the door on her and held it shut so she could not follow us to my vehicle. After holding the door shut for a minute she decided not to come outside. It was very scary. I do not recommend you take your children to this place or anyone with disabilities. That old hostess is crazy, unstable and unpredictable. The busyness of that place and being understaffed made her snap out on a mom with 2 young children. SHe choose to TERRORIZE US and that is not ok! Hershey Bistro choosing to employ someone like her is not ok.
Poor service. Very slow, careless forgetful wait staff. 2 dinners were good, the third came after everyone else was finished eating. Food was good but for the fact that we had to order the 3rd dinner three times before they had food to fulfill the order, free desserts did not make up for the time spent sitting. Cute atmosphere but very disappointing experience. Very poor management.
Yes, as I was eating my soup I stirred up from the bottom and up came a dead bug! When I showed it to the waitress she didn't seem shocked, she just took it away and NO ONE came to talk to me about it! I, at least, expected them to apologize but no, everyone just ignored it like it was a routine event.'Maybe it IS routine so I would advise future diners to expect anything during their meal. Oh, they didn't charge me for eating 1/4 of the soup so we paid the bill and left. We won't go back if that's how they treat customers!!
Tonights dinner experience was not the best. Three people eating and one didn't get food until the other two were finished with their meal. The wait staff and the kitchen were on separate pages and no one really knew what was going on. The prime rib and the NY strip were really good but it ruins your dinner experience when one person doesn't get dinner until after the others eat. We did get free desserts but the restaurant needs help with organization and the servers need to know what the kitchen is out of before taking orders.
