Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I love Rita’s and will continue to come here regularly but it is unacceptable and to me it should not be allowed to only have one person attending many costumers! The girl who was working today 03/12/25 was amazing and was obviously working very hard to attend to all of us but the wait time was obviously very long (45mins to be exact) and because i drove from middletown to here i waited. I hope she gets to keep all the tips to herself!!!

I go there all the time in summer and it is a great place to get some Italian ice and chill with friends.

One of my favorite places in Elizabethtown , PA! Ice cream is always delicious, service is top notch and the owners are absolutely phenomenal. They go above and beyond for each customer and their community! Never disappointed.

Awesome all around! I got a pup cup for the pup and a blue raspberry gelato for myself. The gentleman who served me was very kind, helpful and quick I must add!
They have plenty of seating available if you want to eat outside to enjoy the atmosphere.
Highly recommended, will definitely be visiting again!

Last week I visited the e-town Rita's van at the Juniata County Fair. The gentleman behind the counter made a mistake counting my change in order to "save $1 bills for change". When I pointed out his mistake, he became hostile and proceeded to lecture me on being honest and explaining why I was wrong even though I clearly wasn't. Every time I tried to explain where he went wrong he got more belligerent. I ended up walking away having paid $18 for a $7 treat because I was holding up the line and there was nothing I could do to convince him he was wrong. The ice is good but beware of employees that can't make change without a register.

The flower planters out front are lovely, but there was absolutely no hot fudge in the store. This is a managerial inventory problem. There should always be jugs of hot fudge in the back room. Nobody cares about the flowers.

The owners at Rita's are amazing. They are such kind and great people to work with. I have them come out to Hershey Road Campground and the guests love them.

The custard and Italian ice are always delicious ?. Staff is friendly and prompt. Lines get very long, but they do move people through at a good pace. Good place for the whole family and even your furry friends.

The service here has to be the worst of all the Rita's. Stood in line behind 3 customers & it took 30 min to get to window. Only 1 person working at 4 on a hot afternoon. 3 customers walked away but I guess they dont care because theres always more pulling up.
Even when there are enough workers, they are teens who are all slow. And I have to ask twice for a lid & spoon. It's worth it to drive to Mt Joy or even to Wendy's for a Frosty & both are less $$$

Yummy Italian ice!

Messy and incorrect. The one item I ordered was the wrong flavor ice AND the wrong custard. The other item I ordered was correct, but the custard looked as if it had been melting for a while even though they just made it. The custard was supposed to be black raspberry, but apparently their machine is having a hard time mixing the flavoring in, because it was vanilla custard with spots of straight syrup throughout it. In addition to that, I was somehow overcharged. A large ice cream with one topping and a large gelati plus tax doesn’t total up to more than $15-17 no matter how I add it up, yet I was charged $20. I was in a rush and didn’t realize the issues until I’d left. The woman in front of me also received the wrong order and had them remake hers. Just overall disappointed.
