Had a delicious lunch there with my parents and two kiddos (6 and 3). Lunchtime was amazing! Kiddos loved the french fries. Friendly staff.
The food is always amazing here! Our server was such a sweetheart, and I enjoyed talking with her. We stop here every once in a while for lunch and enjoy the calming atmosphere. I've never had a bad experience and can't wait to stop in again!
Nice, clean atmosphere. Nice staff and reasonable prices.
We stopped here for a Friday morning breakfast, we’ve been wanting to try here. We were not impressed. We ordered Belgium waffle with fresh strawberries which was fine the waffle was very blah could use vanilla or more flavor and strawberries berries were minimal. Bbq Benedict which came out with raw potatoes not a single one had a crisp, the chipotle hollandaise was over cooked, broken—it was scrabbled eggs in the sauce. And my blueberry corn cakes were good probably the best thing at the table. The service was extremely slow and coffee refills were scarce. The reviews listed on here made us really want to give this a shot but it was not worth the $50 for the three of us. There are so much better restaurants around this area.
Absolutely loved the bistro, the food was delicious!!!!
This is a favorite place to enjoy great food in a homey atmosphere. The Servers were stretched thin as it was crowded. The fact that they offer sour dough toast makes it all the more delicious and worthwhile.
I got the blackened Shrimp Salad. The shrimp was fine but the fruit (mangoes, pineapple, pears) were from a can which made the entire salad soggy and tasteless.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday. Everything was delicious. We did not take part in the buffet, but that looks good as well!
We're always happy with The Hershey Bistro. It's a bit noisy, as the floor, furnishings, and low ceilings don't absorb sound. They offer affordable dining, excellent service, and very good meals. The easy access and no-step structure is excellent for us, as one of our group has mobility issues. This time, they hit homeruns on five of the six meals our group ordered. Great portions. The turkey dinner was excellent, as were the pulled pork sandwiches and small meat sampler platter. I can't speak for the Hawaiian salad, but they easily substituted salmon for chicken for a lady in our group. My fish dinner special was just OK. I loved the stewed tomatoes. The fish were simply small wedge-shaped pieces of frozen haddock - not bad, but not great. The mac & cheese side was soupy, not pasty like a serving spoonful of real baked mac & cheese should be. All in all, we will know we'll return to The Bistro!
We were looking for something near The Vineyard at Hershey and this popped up. The food was lovingly prepared and delicious. A homey menu with twists - like soft shell crab sliders and exotic mushroom soup- both of which I totally enjoyed.

It is a great place to have a breakfast, lunch and/or dinner with friends or family. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is delightful and the noise level allows for reasonable communication for you and your friends without affecting other who are dining.
Great spot for brunch. We all ordered from the lunch menu but the breakfast buffet was open and looked very appetizing. Homemade chips and smoked meats were a hit!
This restaurant missed on all levels. They sat us next to a volleyball team of teenagers. There had to be over forty of them crammed into the corner and they sat us so close we felt like we were part of the group. My soup came out before the appetizers. When the entrees came out, they came out one at a time with over 5 minute between entrees being served. The timing forced my party to eat in front of each other while other people waited. My wife ordered the prime rib, rare, they tried to serve her an end piece well done. When she sent it back, the server told her that all they have left was end cuts. Two things here, one, why did the server allow my wife to order it rare if they only had end cuts and two, it was 6:30pm, how could they be sold out so early in the shift? We ordered desert, only to be told that they were also sold out of that item, again, it's 7pm on a Saturday. As we were eating our desert, the manager started prepping the tables next to us for their breakfast buffet. They pushed the tables, covered in a folded tablecloth so close to my wife, that she couldn't pull her chair out. When we walked out, I told the manager that it was uncomfortably loud, her response was, "the other side (of the restaurant) was much louder”. There wasn't an apology or even recognition, it was “it could have been worse". Nothing could have been worse.
Food and service was very good. We dine here almost every week; and the diversity of the menu and quality of the food and service keeps us coming back.
Great brunch site--both a buffet and menu items. Everyone very helpful--amazing omelette station.
