Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Large Portions. Many Menu items to pick from. Beautiful Restaurant Interior

They had delicious lattes before. Now, after the renovations, it seems like the ownership changed. The waitress said the coffee machine was broken, and, when asked if the cafe will serve coffee again, said she didn't know.

Very cute BYOB. They have a diverse menu and everything was fantastic! The service was excellent. Specials change weekly and are outstanding. Highly recommend! We will be back.

The food was very well prepared. Was nice to not feel rushed. Service a bit slow an inattentive but it really was all about the food!

Attended a friend's baby shower here and the food was delicious! Will be back if I'm ever in the area again.

This is a nice cozy little restaurant. The staff was helpful and very friendly. It has a nice atmosphere, in a cosy little building. there is a lot of thick windows so you can see what's going on outside. The food was tasty and enjoyable.

Had a lovely meal there. Great food, attentive service. They were out of the beef goulash over gnocchi, so at the server's suggestion, I ordered the shrimp papardelle, which was amazing. Good choice!

I used to love this place, once I found it. even after the menu changes, etc. my last experience (take out for the first time) was if plates were cleared from the tables and scraped into a take out container. restaurant has ignored my messages. they no longer deserve my business, my hard earned money or my loyalty to their establishment. shame on them.

The enjoyment of wonderful food was overshadowed by the annoying, untrained bus staff. First, my bread plate was swept away with 2 pieces still on it. I did manage to lasso that back to the table. Then my salad plate was whisked away without being asked if I was done. (I wasn't) The 3rd (unlikely to happen again) incident was the small fire I put out at the table next to ours. The patron was perfusely grateful—the waiters and owners showed no appreciation; and didn't say a word. Improved customer relations is desperately needed.

Good food and service

Great local BYOB restaurant. Limited menu, which I like and everything they serve is terrific. Bring guests to give them the Elkins Park experience. A nice jazz duo plays regularly. This is the perfect spot to relax with good friends!

Nice, quaint, quiet, out of the way place. Good menu options for all lifestyles. Will definitely go again.

I used to come here years ago and we loved the place back then. The service was charming and the food was great. I returned last Saturday and I was shocked and sad about how things have gone downhill. The huge problem is the waiters they have now. They appear to have no experience and no training. I noticed when customers entered they would simply point to a table outside or inside and say you can go sit there. They didn't walk the guest to their table or greet them. They didn't explain the specials, if you didn't notice them on the board then you just didn't even know. They didn't clear dishes once we were done with anything and they never refilled a drink or asked if we wanted another drink. At one point they brought out the chicken pasta and I noticed it didn't have the arugula on it. I advised them and in an effort to blow me off he said oh we ran out. I knew it was a lie based on their immature non caring service so I said please go ask the chef. I knew it was simply forgotten and they just didn't care to ask for it. Not 5 minutes later they come out with the arugula that they had all along, as I suspected the comment about being out of it was not true. The service was so lackluster because they had an immature attitude and they were there to socialize with each other and treated guest like people who just showed up there. They need to train them or hire experienced waiters because the charm was what used to make this place so great. I will not be returning.

I can't believe the value for the money of this place. The main menu is mostly Eastern European food, but if that's not your thing they have staples like burgers and salmon. It is their specials that really shine. The chef seems to like to dabble, so you might see a to Thai curry soup, a Cornish hen, a risotto, or simply a steak. Either way, I almost always get the specials. Their desserts are homemade and very good... No food service pies here!
