My partner and I decided to go to
Cafe Clover as it was a beautiful way to start our day . All was going well until the owner of the establishment came in, even the aura of the employees changed which was very noticeable by the way and not in a good way. My partner had his road bike which he brought inside the cafe because there's no way it was safe to leave it outside unsecured. The owner then came over to us and stated if we were only staying for 30 minutes we'll have to park the bike on the outside, but if longer than 30 minutes it's okay to leave it inside with us. My partner responded and said we would be there for a few hours but I guessed that didn't register to him. By this time we were there for approx. 4 hours, during those hours we bought multiple items ( a smoothie, cappuccino and a tiramisu shaved ice bowl). The owner approached my partner again and said in so many words " It is getting crowded, your bike cannot stay inside". My partner responded " we are getting ready to wrap things up without even giving an exact time because we are entitled to stay as long as we wish without anyone rushing us. At this point he was sitting to the right of us, all we heard was " EXCUSE ME YOU SAID 30 MINUTES YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW" in a very loud and disrespectful manner, that caught us by surprise. I was very upset and so was my partner because that was no way to speak to someone. How dare you!. He handled the situation better than I would've like the gentleman that he is. There was a significant customer volume at the time so everyone saw what happened. One of his employees came over being very apologetic which we truly appreciated but unfortunately the damage was already done. I can proudly say we will never support cafe clover again. Can we say racially profiled for having a bike!!!!! Just unacceptable. In addition I think it's time for him to retire. He is simply just an unpleasant human being. The happiness and satisfaction of your customers should always be a top priority. In this case unfortunately it was not.
This place used to be awesome, and my wife and I looked forward to going any chance we got. However something was different today. Had to wait over 20 minutes for a simple grilled cheese, and when it finally came it wasn’t even halfway cooked. It was just slightly warmed cheese, not even melted at all. So I sent it back. When it finally was ready (I only knew because I got up and asked) it appeared they had simply baked it in an attempt to melt the cheese. I asked for a refund and left. I noticed the other customers seemed to be waiting unusually long for their orders as well. It’s a shame, I don’t know what happened, but that’s it for us. I mean how hard is it to make a grilled cheese?

I like this place, but what made me leave a review is what I saw in my most recent visit. After I placed my order, another person was making an order behind the register and he coughed 2-3 times without covering his mouth, without doing anything to prevent the germs from getting into the food and drinks. How disgusting.
What kinda cafe waits until 10 am to open? Service staff that was in this Sunday morning were absolutely terrible. It was not busy but I waited 10 minutes for a sandwich and 2 drinks, when I asked where they were the person behind the counter looked up from their cellphone to let me know my order was ready, but sitting behind the counter and gestured that I should reach behind the counter to get my own food. So glad our area has its very own pretentious and overpriced cafe!

I felt bad for the cafe since the bingsu & drinks are pretty good; HOWEVER, the service is another story. The one with glasses is okay but the one with false eye lashes is rude. She doesn’t seem to be enthusiastic to work. I said hi which she simply looked at me like I said something offensive to her.
Maybe the owner needs to train their employees better???

Got here 8:20 order Taiyaki ice cream and they said they closed the kitchen. Whe i see the sign they are closed at 9pm. You can tell the workers don't want to work and the owner not here. Come 2 times and always say they closed. But the ice cream is good here i just don't like the service.

ordered tiramisu for 30 bucks, it turned out to be a bowl of frozen milk with little bits of tiramisu, even less than in the photo, almost tasteless milk

This is such a cute and quaint café. Very relaxing environment to read while snacking on a delicious slice of cake. I've never tried misugaru before but the misugaru latte (hot and iced) is so good! The cheese cakes and cakes was so delicious. Definitely coming back to try the other desserts!

Every time this place is either super cozy and relaxing or bustling with lots of people and I am not surprised, they have plenty of seats for sitting and working on your own projects, free WiFi, and lots of drink options (you can ask for the coffees to be put into a mug!). The sandwiches seem pricey but it’s filling for the size given. Totally recommend the mango bingsu!! It’s pretty hot in there, but the workers told me they were getting it fixed so that’s understandable.

I went into the really hot summer weather and it felt like it was sweltering..
I was out of breath, so I asked the clerk if he had turned on the air conditioner.
It's strange to hear that it's cooler than before;;
It was really cooler outside.
I ordered strawberry shaved ice for $26, but it was too hot.
Record everything in one minute.
I was crazy because I paid $26 for it.
I don't think I'll ever go there again.

This a great cafe with a lot of options and the staff are really friendly. The bubble tea has interesting but delicious flavors and the sweet desserts pair nicely well with them. Whoever Molly is she was super sweet and knowledgeable. Thanks for not steering us wrong with the taikyaki pairing! You rock !
