They threw in some free small donut with creme in it that I didn't even pick out. It was better than anything I ordered, and probably the best donut I've had in the city after Beilers.

This place is SO cute. I wish I could sit here all day and read while eating pastries. Staff is so sweet as well. And everything they offer is affordable my iced coffee was less than $4

I just called here and couldn't even get help. Because the person who answered the phone, doesn't speak english. Why do you have someone answering your phone, who can't assist customers⁉️😑

Delicious baked goods and much cheaper than at the other chains that are out there! We always appreciate the free samples also, often they're things I wouldn't normally reach for but they are always delightful. The selection includes some croissant/pastry and a large amount of fried dough/breads that are delightful and taste fresh. The second largest variety I would say is in the rice cake/mochi like buns and cakes. I love the hot dog donut, ham and cheese pastry, custard cakes...I guess I pretty much like everything hahaha. Mocha soboro bread is my most recent favorite though- such a strong mocha flavor and also had some walnuts and ?cherry bits in it to compliment. Delightful!

Delicious pastries, much much better than the chains nearby. Really friendly service and we got a little treat on the house :) We got a large bag of pastries that came out to $15 and everything tasted fresh, even though we came in towards the end of the day. 10/10!!!

TLDR: amazing family-owned Korean bakery with nice people and cheap coffee.

My new favorite place. I called ahead to see if they served bread, as opposed to just dessert. The sweet man on the phone asked thoughtful questions about what I was using the bread for, and talked me through multiple options that would suit it. Feeling confident there was a solid selection of choices for me, I stopped in on the way home, expecting a small, run-of-the-mill bakery. Not this place!

Don’t let the slightly shabby shopping mall fool you. Sol Levante’s bakery is modern, clean and surprisingly spacious. I couldn’t believe the variety of treats - savory and sweet - sprawled out on tables throughout the store. As soon as I walked in, the young man from the phone greeted me and walked out from behind the counter to guide me to the breads we discussed. I picked out two buns and checked out.

Now, this place is a family-owned Korean bakery so when I say rolls, we’re not talking Amoroso hoagie rolls. These were high-end ($4 a piece) buttered buns, so definitely not your “every day use bread,” but I was making bean burgers for 2 and these looked like they’d be perfect.

But let me tell you, these rolls LEVELED UP my burgers. Not even joking, I am actually quite literally in the middle of dinner right now and had to stop to write this review because I’m so floored. They are so buttery and soft and flavorful, working perfectly with the savory profile of the bean burgers while adding a tinge of sweetness. I truly will never be able to make the recipe without these rolls ever again.

The nice young man (note: the owners’ son!) even gave me a red bean walnut pastry as a treat. I haven’t had it yet because, again, I literally stopped eating my dinner to write this review, but I already know it is 10/10. I will be back!
