I had my bridal shower here! It was amazing, Dana was truly amazing and made everything truly spectacular! It was a dream come true!

Shakespeare's restaurant and pub is inside a medieval-like castle at the Olde Stonewall Golf Club. It serves brunch, lunch, and dinner in a beautiful but casual setting. The menu includes salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, chicken, steaks, veal, salmon, tuna, cod, crab cakes, pastas, vegetable sides, some desserts, etcetera. My husband and I ate dinner here. I had made a reservation, but empty tables were available. We felt very interested in the architecture of the castle. The employees served us well. We loved our French-onion soup, prime rib, and apple tart. The flatbread was good. The stuffed shrimp tasted OK. The total price was fairly reasonable.

What am amazing venue! From the moment you drive up it's just a sight! I own LWP Balloon Creations and did my second event there over the weekend and it turned out beautiful! My clients were celebrating a 100th birthday and wanted the large room full of balloon fun! We set up a Greenwell, marquee numbers, balloon garlands, clusters, pearl strands and columns to tie the whole space together! The staff was super sweet and accommodating letting me stash my bags in in empty space and holding doors and the elevator! You get your steps in for sure but it's worth it!! Thanks for having me at your beautiful venue!

My daughter was married here in May. Not even one single thing went wrong. Mrs. Dee and her staff we professional, understanding, thoughtful and prepared. What an epic day for her, her hubby and all of our family, extended and near. Thank you everyone. Only including one photo as was granted by the bride. 💖

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration following an experience at your restaurant during Sunday brunch, around 10:00 AM this past weekend.

I joined my family for what we hoped would be a pleasant meal, and as any parent knows, dining out with an infant—especially a 7-month-old—can be challenging. Despite that, we made every effort to be courteous and mindful of those around us. As we were finishing up and already in the process of packing to leave, the manager approached and asked us to go. While unnecessary, I let it go—until I was confronted again outside the restaurant.

The manager informed me that there had been two complaints and felt the need to belabor the point, making me feel humiliated and unwelcome. As a first-time mother, I already navigate enough challenges when going out in public with a baby. That experience made me feel small, unsupported, and judged for something I was already actively managing.

I understand that not every dining environment is ideal for families, but the way I was treated was not only unprofessional—it was deeply unkind. What could have been a quiet departure turned into an upsetting encounter I will not forget. I will not be returning to Shakespeare’s, and I would caution other parents to think twice if they are considering visiting with children.

I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and address the handling of such situations with more empathy and respect in the future.

Amazing place looks beautifull the atmosphere is obvioisly very cool for around here ... staff was all very nice ( i was even able to get something that wasnt on the menu im very picky and theu had 0 issue serving me just a plain piece of cajon chicken and some frys) the white chedder cheese bites were super good . I went here when i was very young and got a picture with one of the suits of armour and was very pleased to be able to recreate that photo .
Also cool that you dont need a reservation (unless your a group of 5 or more i belive i saw it was ) wait time wasnt long at all overall great experiance and well worth the money
