We frequent Botanery Barn often. We love the cocktails, food and personnel. We are friends with all. The entertainment also excels. Our favorites are Scott DiNolfi, Joe Waterloo and Carey, . . So fun do not hesitate to go and enjoy! .

Food was delicious and the drinks were great too. The main bar area seems very nice, we were seated in the back section which would benefit from background music. But overall this is a really cool place and we will definitely go back.

After a gorgeous morning hike at French Creek State Park, our group of 15 gathered at Botanery Barn Distillery & Restaurant for a post-hike birthday celebration, and I can confidently say it was one of the most seamless, welcoming and truly exceptional dining experiences I've had in some time. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to accommodate our large group with warmth and efficiency. Organizing a group this size can be a challenge, but the staff made it feel effortless, ensuring everyone was comfortable, taken care of and truly celebrated. The service was outstanding—genuine, attentive, and kind in a way that made us feel like regulars from the start. And the food? Incredible. Every single person at the table made a point to tell me how blown away they were by the flavors, the craft beverages, and the overall experience. Whether it was the thoughtfully crafted cocktails, the perfectly balanced dishes, or the cozy yet elevated ambiance, Botanery Barn delivered on every level. It's rare to find a place that nails both the atmosphere and execution, but this spot does just that. By the end of the meal, there was one thing we all agreed on: we'll be back. And not just that—we'll be telling everyone we know to come experience it for themselves. Huge thanks to the entire team for making this birthday lunch so special. If you're looking for an unforgettable post-adventure meal or a place to celebrate with great company, this is it.

Great bistro! Got a Bloody Mary along with the burger. Cooked exactly as I asked with lots of flavor! Definitely worth stopping when in the area.

Let me start with the positive: my carrots and my husband salmon were excellent, Musican Emme Ryan also excellent. Not much good after that. Our service was poor. Starting with our reservations not being honored. My husband and I along with 2 friends came there to hear a musican so we asked for 6pm reservations for 4 in room with musican. We arrived and they had no table for us in that room. They offered us seats at bar and told us they would move us asap. But they didn't tell us that both tables of 4 had just been sat in the last 10 minutes. so we sat at the bar for 2 hrs. Had to request mustard for our friend 3 times even though he had requested it when he ordered his burger. Had to ask repeatly for my ice tea to be refilled. Very disappointed.

As other reviews have stated, this place is a little pricey but worth it. Portion size is good. It is such a neat atmosphere and the service is always amazing. Incredible drink creations and rotating seasonal menu. The brussels appetizer and honey nut squash lasagna were delicious, while my husband really enjoyed his steak. Catch the sunset on their outdoor patio or enjoy live music events.

What an amazing Mac and cheese tart! So, so good 😋
The burger was the best I've had in a very long time. The bacon was so flavorful. Cooked to perfection 👍 which rare can be difficult to nail.
Chocolate moose cake to die for!

What a beautiful night we had celebrating a friends birthday. They were extremely accommodating to our party of 8. We all loved absolutely everything we ordered. Cocktails, apps, entrees and desserts! All delicious!

This is truly a hidden gem in Chester County. The aesthetic is an old barn, complete with stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. They distill their own gin and bourbon and the drink menu is truly unique and tasty. And you get a pretty large bourbon drink for the price! The menu is on the limited side, but everything we've tried is great. One of the best burgers you'll ever have, and the pork tacos are another go-to staple. I highly recommend reservations Friday/Saturday to ensure you'll get a seat. Note they do have live music Friday and Sat, so be aware if you're seated in the bar area. It's on the small side, so the noise level will be louder. I would 100% give this a try if you are on the fence.

I love this place because it is local (I'm an Elverson resident) and the drinks are better than you'll get anywhere. Their gin is over the top good. Their live music is also very good. Last evening's experience was less than ideal because the table of 6 beside us was very loud and because I ordered an open face Cuban sandwich which was very greasy. If you're looking for a small place with atmosphere, good music and good drinks, this is the place for you. But, I wouldn't come if you don't want to spend $$ (food and drinks are pricey) and if eating options and portions are important to you.

“How does this exist out here?!” was a direct quote from a friend whom we brought to the Botanery Barn a few months back. Though seemingly in the middle of nowhere (it really is not), it is everything the city wants and doesn’t have. The whiskey is phenomenal, the mixed cocktails are great (and worth every penny), and the food is out of this world. We’re so freaking lucky to live near this place.
