My husband and I came for a late lunch for Valentine's Day. The menu was very small and limited, but the options were excellent. He had the filet, and I had the cashew crusted salmon. Both were really delicious! And the cocktail options are amazing! Difficult to choose. I think if they expanded their menu a bit, we would dine here more frequently. Very cool ambiance, with the place being around since 1870.

DO BETTER. we have enjoyed this place for years and tonight was the 1st time we cant say it was top notch. The live music has always been not great and too loud, but tonight was terrible. The food has always been amazing, unfortunatey they removed the montycristo sandwich very sad, so i ordered the burger (20$) was the most anemic looking peice of meat cooked to death ( ordered medium). The chared edamane was very over salted and lacked the normal flavors. Thank god the drinks were strong . service was ok for a bussy night, just very dissapointed with quality of the meal. May return but for a 120$ tab might not be for a while.

We were slightly disappointed with our most recent visit here. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance for a party of 4. Unfortunately, the main dining area seemed all reserved for a private birthday party so we were seated in the larger more open area to the left behind the bar which had NO HEAT. There was one small space heater which we tried to move closer to our table because it was so cold in there. We all kept our coats on the entire time. It made for a very uncomfortable dining experience and a difficult evening to enjoy. In the past we would order an app and a main course, and usually 2 rounds of drinks but we made it a point to leave as soon as possible this time. I wish the restaurant had notified me in advance of the seating arrangement situation for this particular very cold and very booked evening so we had the choice whether or not to visit.

Food, drinks, service, atmosphere is excellent, as usual! We eat there at least once a month. Love it!

Had a nice time the other night. Wasnt in the main area, which would have been nicer but still had a cozy feel. Hummas was great and also had the macaroni and cheese tart and brussel sprouts which were also very good. The chicken taco has a good amount of spice and flavor too. Drinks were very good

Food and drinks are always delicious here along with the friendly service. We both had the short ribs, and the garlic chili nuts for an appetizer. Get the chocolate Old Fashioned! So good! I am a repeat customer and will continue to support this wonderful establishment.

We love sitting at the table for two at the bar however on our recent visit we brought out daughter. We sat on the side opposite the wall of the bar in a table for 3 that was separated by a ‘pop-up' divide from the kitchen. It won't dissuade us from coming however a more stable and longer partition to finish the side room would be a great investment. Brussels shined as always. My lemon gnocchi had different pasta from the usual puffy clouds but was still delicious.

Wonderful and cozy place with delicious food! Pre-mixed drinks only are good but are also pricey. We go early and it feels like it's just us. Background music never fails to impress!

Love this place however it was a bit disappointing this night. I am hoping it was a one off. Cocktails fab; Food was not hot, service was not good. Although they took our sandwich s off the bill...it's about the experience. I will give it another try.

Wonderful first experience! The gin and whiskey cocktails were great and the food was even better. So accommodating of us and our newborn too!

An absolute gem! We were incredibly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere and will be back to enjoy more from the seasonal menu!

Best gin I have ever had in my life and I’m a huge gin guy. Cocktails are big and strong and can’t go wrong with any food on the menu.

Exactly the experience I was looking for. Outdoors with my pup, in the shade, inviting surroundings. Service was awesome. Got the empanadas and hummus - excellent! Purchased a bottle of gin with which I made gimlets - 😋!
