I remember them having a sign that said the world's worst apple pie in 96 and 97 something like that. I stopped there a few times with my big rig🙂

Great diner experience!! Stuck here due to severe traffic congestion and icy road conditions. Customer service was excellent. Liver and onions were amazing. But I should have ordered a side of bacon to make it a home cooked memory!! Breakfast was equally delicious. Good coffee!! GREAT PIE!!!

This is a fun little hidden jem at a Route 80 truck stop. Great food with staff to match. Don’t forget to try the “worst apple pie” you will ever have. Lol love the marketing on this one.

A little gem hidden in Emlenton, PA. Great service, good food, great prices, and portion sizes are amazing. Highly recommend!!! We were here every day. Will be back the next time we come to Emlenton!!!

Food is amazing! Service is amazing! So tired of the normal fast food places! This restaurant has everything fresh! The apple pie is truly the worst i had to have 2 slices just to make sure 😉

As far as service goes, it took 10 minutes for anyone to take our order. After this, we waited 40 minutes for our entrees to come out. This is ridiculous, considering that we got a patty melt, a grilled cheese, a Reuben, and fried chicken. Also the restaurant was practically empty so there wasn’t really an excuse.

The food was also not very good. The fried chicken was unseasoned, dry, and a small portion. The fries were soft. The patty melt was alright, a bit overcooked. On both the patty melt and the grilled cheese the cheese slices were only partially melted, and very low quality cheese. The best thing I tried was the tomato soup, which I’m 90% sure was from a carton. Overall a disgusting meal.

I will admit that the restaurant ambiance is alright. However, I consider ambiance to be the least important thing at a ‘food’ ‘serving’ establishment.

Found this place while on holiday from Britain travelling along 80 quite by chance. What a great place. Full of character. The staff were really friendly and service excellent.

Had the meat loaf for dinner and so enjoyed it, I came back for breakfast the next day and had the corned beef hash, which was equally as nice.

These roadside diners must be getting rarer and rarer. What a pleasure to relax and dine in a characterful restaurant, with good food, than a generic chain.
