Visiting my parents from the NYC area and was told the owner was a transplant, and I could get a decent TEC on a roll. Roll was good for PA, egg was good, cheese was melted in the egg. 1, that’s right, ONE SLICE of Taylor ham on my entire sandwich. That’s not how this works, and if truly a transplant, stop letting PA allow you to commit that sin.

Great chicken cutlets and Italian delectables. No public bathroom. Not much for overall personalities, a dry bunch.
Visited the Allentown Farmers Mrket today. We picked up some tortellini salad and ready made sandwiches today, Italian hoagie and Chicken Caesar wrap, all were amazing. So excited to see there is a location open during the week locally!

But, I can’t support an owner and manager who take advantage of their employees who come from different countries. I’ve seen their employees treated in an unprofessional & disrespectful manner. They run a business that wants to make a sale and then get you the hell out. I blame this on their aggressive & rude manager who clearly has her favorite customers. Their compliance with health codes is certainly questionable as is their compliance with the proper way to pay employees. Oh, the stories I’ve heard from prior employees! There are good hoagies elsewhere. I’m not supporting this nasty owner here, the Fairgrounds or at Morty’s Steaks.

Excellent, excellent Italian Hoagie.! Pouring rain so we ate inside. Great fast service. 40 years ago I did a lot of work in a variety of locations in South Philly area. My hoagie was just like the hoagies I could pick up from pretty much any S.Philly corner deli back then. I highly recommend giving Dave’s a try. It’s difficult to find a great Italian hoagie anymore. Only thing missing was hot cherry peppers but their hot banana peppers are next best thing .

Only “complaint” I have is they don’t have late enough hours. The American is the best I have ever had. Their everything bagel sausage egg and cheese is also superb.

This is not a trustworthy establishment and does not operate to code regarding taxes or payment of employees. Does not treat employees with respect and staff is dishonest. ESP Margo. It is such a disappointment that a business that has (2) establishments would operate and treat employees with such disregard, lack of class and zero organization. It is as if they had no idea what they were doing unless they were operating shifty. I would be very hesitant doing any investments with David or frequenting here.
