“I live in Pennsburg which has about 10 different pizza shops. None of them compare to Giovanni’s. I love Sicilian pizza and Giovanni’s has the best bar none. When I order one at my local pizza shop, it turns out to be a regular pizza made into a square shape. Thanks for the care, quality and freshness of your food.“

“Another great thing about Monocacy Coffee. Its the best resurrection coffee around. I am not one to dispose of my old coffee. I soon dispose of old sour whiskey, and that is stating alot. Anyway, day, two day old coffee ? Don't want to suffer the burnt re-cook of the stove, or the radiated foaming microwave ? Crack out the old perc from the camping supplies. Do not use the guts, just simply add a few, literally less than my son's handfull, Monocacy Coffee whole beans into the aged coffee, bring to quick boil and viola ! Resurrected super delicious enjoyable renewable coffee. Truth.“

Our seats are always waiting, and we end up chatting with other regulars like lifelong friends.

Now let’s talk food—because WOW. The prime rib is next-level amazing. The loaded baked potato literally melts in your mouth. The ribs fall off the bone without even trying. The quesadillas are a full meal and then some. And whisper this part because I don’t want them to sell out—the wings are, without question, the BEST wings in the valley. No competition.

“I so wish that I had asked for names - but this place is phenomenal! We came in last Tuesday and Wednesday for breaks from Dorney. We were in from Virginia. Tuesday we sat at a booth up at the bar and the whole experience totally rocked. I had a family member with a gluten sensitivity and the park had little to offer, so we came to BJs. Service was great, food was fantastic, end to end just a great time. Wednesday we sat out in the dining area and had a different server, and he was incredible. Super attentive, all over everything we needed, top notch all the way - and then… Yall blessed my bourbon loving heart. I glanced across the bar and saw pretty common whisky selections. I ordered a water. It was hot anyway. But then I caught the label of a bottle of Booker’s… the price per pour was so good I asked 3 times to verify. When your bartender told me people don’t often order bourbon like that in there, my next question was “where is the closest liquor store?” Because I knew I’d get lucky. Bingo. Two bottles of Bookers on the shelf at Cedar Crest. ECBP, and a handful of other solid bottles not commonly seen in my state outside allocated drops. So bourbon fans - get you a healthy pour of Booker’s at a killer price at BJs, order the Prime Rib dip sandwich because it’s crazy good, and then go see what’s on the shelf nearby afterwards.“

“Let’s start by saying this was a Saturday night during Christmas season, obviously very busy and we totally get it. We were a party of 4, 3 sharing tapas, 1 ordered a large plate. Tapas were fabulous with the octopus being a true standout. Lamp chops, empanadas,spinach dip, slay! It would’ve been nicer if the person who had the large plate would have gotten their food not after all the tapas were pretty much eaten already again I totally get very busy. Sangria is not great ( no fruit and pretty much only the ice cubes) the Mojito very well done! Be mindful if you’re taller than 5’5 sitting on the wall because you will hit your head😂 what was bizarre to all of us is the amount of wait staff present with so little attention to the tables. Nobody was doing water service even though numerous employees were literally just standing. Also when putting water glasses on the table please train your employees to not put their fingers in it when putting them on the table. Overall the kitchen gets three thumbs up and would come back for the food for sure. I just wonder if your front line employees could a refresher training class to make a better impression.“
