A coffee shop should be open at 6AM, especially in a small town like Emporium. At this point I should open my own coffee shop here. Every trip back home I look forward to stopping in and getting some coffee and food but it's always closed.

2 Coffee Pl. with a friendly owner. I didn't get anything to eat, but it looks like all the other people coming in. We're ordering food, and really seem to enjoy it. It has a certain charm to it, which creates a nice place to sit and enjoy yourself.

They have a nice and diverse lunch menu that even includes vegan food. The mushroom melt was my lunch. They have baked goods as well. The breakfast burrito was good for breakfast.

After several hours of riding needed a spot to recharge. Saw this spot took a chance glad I did! Very friendly service, fresh hot (though not particularly strong) coffee and a tasty lunch special (shrimp basket: shrimp fries and coleslaw; not my norm but all tasty). Bonus: laid back casual atmosphere with high top tables...recharge complete!
