On a recent motorcycle tour of Route 6, I found this quaint boutique hotel on Trip Advisor. I cannot say enough about the facility, the owner & the breakfasts. The hotel is a renovated house of a wealthy businessman. The restoration is meticulous. No detail was overlooked. The rooms are of period yet the bathrooms updated to include massive showers. The Hygrade Inn was a one night stay for us. We were just planning this as a stop over point, but we really enjoyed our stay. The room was cozy, clean, and tastfully decorated. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
This is the finest lodging establishment in Cameron County. The owners have done a magical job transforming the private home of an early Emporium industrialist into a luxurious and comfortable bed and breakfast. This is my second time staying at The Hygrade - it is now my "go-to" accommodation when I am visiting this very scenic area in the mountains of north-central PA.
