Usually, customizing a Blizzard has been easy and never an issue at every other Dairy Queen I’ve visited. Unfortunately, this location is different. There is one employee who consistently refuses to take custom orders — if it’s not listed exactly on the menu, he won’t make it. It feels like he doesn’t care to get the order right, and it makes the experience really disappointing.
It’s frustrating because the rest of the staff seems friendly and capable, but this one employee makes me avoid this location altogether. I’ve given enough chances and I now go out of my way to visit other Dairy Queens where I know my order will be handled correctly. I don’t recommend giving this location a shot if you prefer customizations. It’s a shame, because I’d love to support this location if the service was more consistent.
