I've been going to this chain basically since I was born. I recently visited this location with my fiance on a trip home to PA. It never disappoints. It's certainly not the finest eatery but I love it. It's nostalgic and tasty. You can fill up on salad and desserts for so little money. Gotta love it.

Placed an order via Doordash & arrived within my pickup window only to be told that the order came through but no one rang it in. Cue me waiting in the lobby for my food for 20 minutes. No real acknowledgement or apology made. Not one single person dining in or carrying out while I was there. Food was meh.

I always order the same entree every time I eat at Hoss’s. I get the bacon cheeseburger salad, with ranch dressing on this side. The last THREE times I ordered take-out, they have forgotten to put the ranch dressing in the to-go bag. Three times. That is three times I have been forced to eat a dry salad, or rummage my cabinets for alternatives. I decided to give them one more chance. So tonight, when I placed my order, I made it very clear to not forget the ranch dressing. Upon arrival home, I opened my salad and was relived when I saw 4 small cups of ranch dressing. After I mixed everything together, I was astonished to find that those 4 small cups was NOT my highly sought after ranch dressing; it was TARTAR SAUCE!!! ?. Needless to say, I will no longer be ordering from Hoss’s again. They have lost my business just as easy as they lost my ranch dressing.

I ordered for take out. When I got home part of what I ordered was not in the tied bag I was given. Also the steak sucked. It was tough and the taste was not good. My small dog would NOT eat it. I know there is a lot if changes in the world today but this is a problem I can Not let go without sharing my opinion.

Staff were very nice! The dining area and salad bar were immaculately clean. The beef tips were fantastic but the sauted shrimp needs some work. Otherwise it was a fantastic trip. The salad bar was perfect, amazing even! The server dedicated to the bar was constantly stirring and topping items off. She does a wonderful job.

My husband ordered a steak medium rare. It came out well done and was inedible. My father's steak tips came out cold. Service was slow despite there only being a few people in the restaurant. We will stick to other Hoss's locations in the future.
