Tavern on the Hill is always a good choice for larger group events. I have not eaten at the restaurant itself, but have been part of several group engagements there. The staff is very attentive, friendly and know their jobs well. The atmosphere is great, though it can be pretty warm on days when it's warm and sunny out. It is an atrium, after all. So you should expect that. Highly recommend for group events!

What a nice evening. Food was very good and the service was exceptional. Very nice wind list as well.

If there was anything I could state as a negative would be that the outside, parking lot and entrance could be cleaned up a little bit. Honestly though that is a minor point

Highly recommend this restaurant.

A bit off the path but way worth the trip. Amazing food and excellent service! If you want a nice dinner in the Harrisburg area you will not be disappointed.

Terrific mothers day brunch, just a little dated.

Never a bad meal here. Service is always on point. If you see it on the menu, go with the Seafood en Chemise.

Seeing so many positive reviews here, I thought I was at the wrong restaurant. But I wasn't. Place is seriously dated with enough mishmash art to fill a museum.

Food: apps(flambe cheese and escargo) and dessert(Baklava cheesecake and rice pudding) were great. The KC steak was fine, cooked MR as requested. Side dish was roasted potatoes that were slightly undercooked.
Service: Server was fine. Very attentive in checking in and replacing glass with dirt in it. Weirdly took all my silverware after apps, but replaced when I asked as salad was served. But overall, no issues.
Atmosphere: again...place is dated. By the bathroom, there's a hole in the wall. Glasses on tables didn't match. The post dinner coffee...$5 a cup. Seems excessive...lol. The kicker though was my old fashioned I ordered, which was one of the worst I've ever had. And the price?? $22.29. I mean...that's comical. At least serve me a Luxardo cherry with it and not some cherry from the dessert aisle at Giant.

If you enjoy going here....great. Keep supporting them. For me, I'll pass.

Had the pleasure of having dinner here tonight. The rainbow over the view of the river should have been a sign it was going to be a great experience! Our waiter (not server because he waits for us to tell him what we want) Michael was awesome, great food suggestions (highly suggest the Saganaki) and hilarious. The food was the real show stopper. Everything was incredible! Will definitely be returning!

Went for dinner and it was fantastic. Had the Shrimp and Eggplant and it was great. My wife had the steak and it was pretty good as well. As an extra bonus had enough left over of both to make another meal out of. Service was good Owen and Robert did a great job.

The service was phenomenal but the food was meh. The server made you feel like you were her only customer and you were the most important guest she had. But the food I thought was overpriced and not that great. I don’t want to pick apart every dish but the soup had a nice sherry flavor but not much else, the steak was rosemary heavy and seasoning light the crab cake while mostly crab very little cake tasted off. I just think for the money I would expect the food to be better. But to dress up and have a fine dining experience it was lovely.
