Ate there for New Year's Eve and it was phenomenal! The food, service, and what a beautiful place! It was truly a fine-dinning experience. Not cheap but well worth the cost in my opinion. Can't wait to see you all in Susquehanna Township-a few miles from my home!

Food was really good! The wait staff was patient, helpful and attentive. It is currently owned by the owners of Luna so you can expect the same quality as the server told us it is the same cook. Most of the staff work at both locations. The menu has some of the same items as well.

We ate here Xmas Eve. I’m hoping management will read this review as, despite the overall positive ratings, I do have some constructive criticism to share. I’ll start with “the Bad” as it leads to “the Good”…

The Bad: There was a set menu for the evening. That, in and of itself, isn’t an issue but we were not aware of it at all. Our server said it was on Instagram? But we follow Visaggio’s on Facebook (don’t have Instagram) and there was nothing about it. Had we known ahead of time there was a set menu and could see the offerings and price, we likely would have opted for elsewhere. My recommendation to management: either 1) ensure your guests are aware of any preset menus via all social media accounts or when they make a reservation, and/or 2) have a limited regular menu in addition to the special menu. But this brings me to the Good…

The Good: Our server, Laura, was fantastic! When we inquired about ordering from the regular menu, she was extremely accommodating and patient with us. We ordered items that were on the set menu but not the entire course, such as the ribeye, so the kitchen staff wouldn’t be too inconvenienced by us and it wasn’t as expensive. The ribeyes were fantastic! We will be back again.

Final thought: I’ve been reading other reviews. While it may be too late to do this, I think the new owners should have changed the name. Too many people are expecting the old Visaggio’s (for better or worse). We love Luna in Mechanicsburg which is why we came here. Maybe rename it to “Visaggio’s by Luna”? So it’s like the old Visaggio’s but with changes.

Our x-mas eve dinner here quickly turned into the nightmare before x-mas. They had a prix fixe menu, choice of either fish or meat for $89/person. We chose fish.

First course: traditional fish salad. What was delivered to the table would be better described as a pile of wilted arugula with a seafood garnish, but the “seafood” varied across our four plates— my husband’s had almost all squid and one shrimp, mine had one squid and two shrimp.

Second course: fried calamari. I wish I could tell you how it was, but it never came. Instead it was skipped over to the main course with no mention. When we asked where it was, they told us they ran out. So instead of offering an alternative dish, the kitchen/management decided to ignore it completely. Nice.

Third course: fruitti du mare with shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops. Unsurprisingly, there were no scallops, it was cold, tasteless and inedible.

Fourth course: couldn’t tell you. At that point we had zero faith in whatever measly, pathetic scraps they were about to pass off as an actual dish. Who wants to eat from a kitchen who is perpetually deceiving guests?

And where was management? Nowhere to be found. Every single person on staff tonight left our waitress holding the bag. The failure of this night has nothing to do with her. In fact, she was the only positive part of our night.

What’s most disgusting is the thought of families who save up all year expecting to enjoy a special x-mas eve dinner only to be deceived and robbed of the meal they were promised. Stay away from this place.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes promised tradition. We fled after two.

The insalata frutti di mare was a hostile mound of arugula—arugula, at an Italian Christmas Eve dinner!—entombed beneath enough balsamic glaze to refinish a deck. Somewhere beneath this catastrophe, a few mussels waited for death’s sweet release.

The frutti di mare pasta arrived cold. Not room temperature. Cold. The lobster tail had the chew of a stress ball and the flavor of municipal water.
We didn’t stay for the rest. I’ve made my peace with that.

At $89 per person, this wasn’t a meal. It was a shakedown in a dining room.

Somewhere, someone’s nonna isn’t weeping. She’s pressing charges.

Visaggio’s was an absolute pleasure to work with and perform at. Im a Frank Sinatra Tribute artist who performed there recently.

They were gracious, professional, and incredibly welcoming in hosting my Sinatra evening, creating the perfect setting for live music and a relaxed, elegant night out.

The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, handling a full room with ease while keeping the service smooth and enjoyable for everyone. The food, drinks, and overall atmosphere came together beautifully, making it a memorable experience for both the audience and the performer. The food was flavorful and the chef so gracious to come out and greet the room. An overwhelmingly caring family atmosphere from the staff

Visaggio’s clearly cares about their guests and the quality of what they offer. A wonderful venue with great hospitality—I’d happily return to sing... and eat. This is a top notch, classic Italian restaurant

We have eaten here 3 or 4 times under old owners and it was outstanding. We ate last night, my wife's meal was ok but I ordered veal picatta and honestly it was the worst veal dish i have ever ordered. The veal was two small pieces very tough. It was very unappetizing as the fat and grisl was left on end and when cooked it curled into a ball. Plate had no flavor and mostly mounds of cheap pasta with no flavor. I would not recommend or go back. I could have complained and sent back but not my style. Just took the plate to go and threw it out. For $127 it was not worth it. Save your money and go elsewhere. Owner will likely reply with standard canned response as they often do and take it personal or make excuses and say I should have said something to waitress at table but it only makes you look like a complainer.
