When you find a place that makes you forget everything else, provides a terrific meal with great employees, you have really found gold. Top that with the upper management being supportive and reactive if you need to speak with them and you want to share that with anyone who wants to listen.
The leadership addressed an issue with the kind of response that I have not seen in many years. It was refreshing, to say the least.
You won't go wrong. From the front desk to the beautiful rooms, the amazing attentive wait staff to the quaint and welcoming bar...do yourself a favor and escape to the Golden Pheasant. Linger and enjoy.

the attention to detail in the dining room was off. Tables not cleared; tables not set. Appears to lack floor management. New addition to the menu did not live up to its description nor the classic preparation for a Nicoise Salad. Just could have been an off day for the restaurant. I hope the new management and owner understands the necessity of keep food standards high. That was the pull from the original owners that carried with the restaurant's reputation to today.

The Golden Pheasant was everything we expected it to be...this being our first experience there. The ambience, service and food, all exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed Grace our server! She truly was a breath of fresh air and extremely attentive to the service she gave us.

Outstanding restaurant. Food was great and the service was the best (thanks Annie). So glad we went there for our dinner to celebrate our anniversary. They also gave us a small box of chocalates to celebrate. How nice was that?

Fish entrees were outstanding. Excellent selection of appetizers and desserts. Seasonal cocktails. Surpassed only by friendly and attentive service and of course old Bucks County ambience with River and canal views. Always a treat.

I've been a longtime fan of Golden Pheasant and have always considered it one of my go-to spots for a great meal. I've even purchased gift certificates in the past to share with clients, which speaks to how highly I've thought of the experience here. Unfortunately, our recent visit didn't quite live up to the high standards I've come to expect. We were dining with friends, and one of us ordered the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata Salad. The burrata had clearly gone bad—it was sour and inedible. We mentioned it to the busboy when the plates were cleared, expecting someone to follow up, but no one came by to acknowledge the issue, let alone offer an apology. Three of us ordered the filet for our entrees. The sauce and potatoes were excellent—especially the potatoes—but the filet itself was disappointing. It was quite small and noticeably chewy, almost like it was cut from the end of an untrimmed piece, which really didn't match the price point. On the bright side, our waitress was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. I've heard there's been a change in ownership recently, and I'm hopeful this was just a temporary setback. I'd love to see the Golden Pheasant return to the consistently great dining experience it used to offer.

Beautiful view, quaint In, great food and beautiful presentation. The waitress was amazing and we really enjoyed our time here. 
Loved the brunch menu, hard to choose what to get. We all ordered the crab, brie and bacon omelet. It was delicious. also loved the pear martini. Service was excellent. only wish the espresso martini had Bailey's in it but I should have asked for it to be added. Will return! beautiful place even on a rainy Sunday

We started with the Escargot Tart which was disappointing, the liver Pate mouse with cherries was nice but it was just a skim of pate. The rack of lamb was good but overpriced for 3 small lamb chops and the veggies were mushy. A bit disappointing, but we will probably try again and get the pheasant.

We were a party of 4 and each was very satisfied with all aspects: appetizers, dinner and desserts. Pre-dinner drinks at the bar were very good and there is something for everyone on the wine list.

Elegant & beautiful dining experience. Service top notch. Celebrated a wedding anniversary here with friends but would absolutely come back for any occasion. Food was delicious with quintessential Bucks County charm.

Excellent dinner at Golden Pheasant last evening. We sat canal-side which was wonderful. The ambiance of their outdoor patio cannot be beat. The food? Fantastic, as usual. Oysters, salads, pheasant and wahoo were delicious. The best part of the evening? Our server, Maria. She is a credit to the restaurant and to the industry in general. This is exactly what great service looks like. Professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and charming. Perfect table side manner. We hope not to wait too long until we dine there again.
