Excellent dinner at Golden Pheasant last evening. We sat canal-side which was wonderful. The ambiance of their outdoor patio cannot be beat. The food? Fantastic, as usual. Oysters, salads, pheasant and wahoo were delicious. The best part of the evening? Our server, Maria. She is a credit to the restaurant and to the industry in general. This is exactly what great service looks like. Professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and charming. Perfect table side manner. We hope not to wait too long until we dine there again. Thank you to Maria and the entire staff at the Golden Pheasant.

Been going to Golden Pheasant for many years and had always felt it was one of my favorites. It was not a favorite last night Just didn't live up to its reputation and my expectations.

This was our 3rd visit to the Golden Pheasant Inn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The mixed drinks are excellent and not overpriced. The food and the service in the restaurant are very good and the dining room itself is really quite beautiful. One can also eat outside along the towpath and be enchanted by the occasional sounds coming from the bull frogs. It's a lovely place.

We have had several meals here and the staff is always top notch! Went for Sunday brunch and what was on their webpage did not match what was on the new menu. Asked for accommodations for what was on the webpage answer was no. Disappointed. Meal size was on the small side and overall value was not there this time. Will try again as we love seeing the staff and the ambience.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this fine place. New summer menu was just delicious. The corn and blueberry salad was so good and the scallops superb. Thank you Golden Pheasant Inn.

The service was very good and has consistently been good. The food was fine but not exceptional. Our only issue was the noise in the dining room. The restaurant was full but because of its high ceilings it was very difficult hearing people speak at your own table.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here celebrating our anniversary with friends. The food was very good. My husband and I enjoyed the swordfish special. The cheese plate we had for an appetizer had a great selection of cheeses but the bread that came with it left needed to be toasted or upgraded in general. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, but the restaurant was definitely understaffed. We will definitely return as the food was very good and we appreciate the fine dining experience that the Golden Pheasant offered.

An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The staff makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is very well prepared and served. Sitting with a view of the canal, as well as the Delaware River, makes for a fabulous evening. We highly recommend The Golden Pheasant.

Grace is the best of the best among wait staff. She makes the diner feel like an old friend the dining experience special. If you love oysters, their's are the best in Bucks.

I ordered the Golden Pheasant "house special" Martini & my husband, an espresso martini (not on the menu). They crafted his martini to order. Both were exceptional. We both ordered the French Onion Soup, which was amazing, made properly, simmering for many, many hours without too much salt. My husband had the pan roasted pheasant over herbed rissoto, which was excellent (I tasted some). I ordered one of the evening specials, the 12-ounce ribeye, which was delicious, suculent, and mouth watering with perfectly roasted asparagus and wonderful mashed potatoes. The service from Grace was phenominal, flawless, and attentive without being intrusive. Entire restaurant was elegantly appointed and spotlessly clean. The spectacular view of the Delaware River out front, the manicured garden on the southerly side, and the Delaware Canal in the rear enhanced an otherwise perfect experience. We shared a creme brulee (luscious) for desert, and the coffee, even better. Just a perfect birthday celebration experience! Our new "Go-To" place.
