This place never disappoints--always lovely, always friendly, attentive service and always amazing food.
An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The staff makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is very well prepared and served. Sitting with a view of the canal, as well as the Delaware River, makes for a fabulous evening. We highly recommend The Golden Pheasant.
Was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the food, it was delicious and we will definitely go back
Grace is the best of the best among wait staff. She makes the diner feel like an old friend the dining experience special. If you love oysters, their's are the best in Bucks.
I ordered the Golden Pheasant "house special" Martini & my husband, an espresso martini (not on the menu). They crafted his martini to order. Both were exceptional. We both ordered the French Onion Soup, which was amazing, made properly, simmering for many, many hours without too much salt. My husband had the pan roasted pheasant over herbed rissoto, which was excellent (I tasted some). I ordered one of the evening specials, the 12-ounce ribeye, which was delicious, suculent, and mouth watering with perfectly roasted asparagus and wonderful mashed potatoes. The service from Grace was phenominal, flawless, and attentive without being intrusive. Entire restaurant was elegantly appointed and spotlessly clean. The spectacular view of the Delaware River out front, the manicured garden on the southerly side, and the Delaware Canal in the rear enhanced an otherwise perfect experience. We shared a creme brulee (luscious) for desert, and the coffee, even better. Just a perfect birthday celebration experience! Our new "Go-To" place.
Immediately welcomed and seated. Delicious drinks with generous pours. Food was outstanding, enjoyed having a good stretch between apps and our meals we didn't feel rushed. Looking forward to going back.
Great menu - so hard to choose - the French onion soup and the shrimp, scallops and risotto was lovely - as i think about it - there was suppose to have been crabmeat and at that price point , if there was any , it wasn't noticeable - oh well It was still tasty but now I'm annoyed. And it's of course a lovely setting to have dinner with friends - even if the crabmeat didn't join us.
We had a lovely dinner at the Golden Pheasant Inn. The food was delicious, the cocktails (from Kevin, the best bartender around!) were great, and the ambience was perfect.
Food was lovely and delicious. Very pretty atmosphere. They're portions are appropriate for a hungry man. Grace, the lady that served us, was full of great local knowledge and solid recommendations of other good spots to check out. 🤘🤘🍻
Went for Thanksgiving dinner food and service were solid!

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary with dinner and overnight stay at the Golden Pheasant Inn. We definitely made the right choice since our dinner (halibut and pork chop) were excellent and we loved the Delaware suite. But what really made it special was Maria whose friendly personal attention to us was much appreciated. She wears many hats at the inn and does each one with excellence. We will definitely be back!
Rooms: The Delaware Suite was very nice and very comfortable.
Nearby activities: Nice view of Delaware River and there is a nice walking and bike path behind the hotel.

We had the best time here. The building is beautiful, warm and friendly. Our room was perfect, it overlooks a tow-path in the back and the stone wall was awesome. The tile work in the bathroom was a nice touch. We loved staying in a place where we had dinner. No need to drive home late, and after a few drinks if wanted. We loved the food and the staff. They were very welcoming and personable and made us feel really special being there. We also appreciated that they were very professional and not like so many other places where you get the minimum, quality all around is what we had and we felt valued. We loved it so much we had dinner there again on our second night. The windows in the dining room made it feel very homey and elegant too. The view over the Delaware with the full moon shining on the water made it romantic. I can’t say enough about the food. Perfectly cooked both nights and my salad! OMG! I could eat it every day. As for my guest, the octopus was the best he’s had in a very long time. We loved it here so much, we already booked another weekend. I’m so happy to have found such an all around fabulous place to go and get away from everyday life close enough to home to go anytime and far enough to be really away. Thanks to ALL of the staff for a great mini vacation.
Rooms: Very cozy and lovely coffee area!
Nearby activities: Wineries, the river and nearby equestrian activities
Food and drinks: Great bartender, quality liqueur.
Super cute small inn. Food and drinks are good. Very clean. Quaint environment. Didn't book a room but the rooms look very nice. Will definitely book a room here in the future.
