An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The staff makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is very well prepared and served. Sitting with a view of the canal, as well as the Delaware River, makes for a fabulous evening. We highly recommend The Golden Pheasant.
I ordered the Golden Pheasant "house special" Martini & my husband, an espresso martini (not on the menu). They crafted his martini to order. Both were exceptional. We both ordered the French Onion Soup, which was amazing, made properly, simmering for many, many hours without too much salt. My husband had the pan roasted pheasant over herbed rissoto, which was excellent (I tasted some). I ordered one of the evening specials, the 12-ounce ribeye, which was delicious,...
Immediately welcomed and seated. Delicious drinks with generous pours. Food was outstanding, enjoyed having a good stretch between apps and our meals we didn't feel rushed. Looking forward to going back.
