If you go here, ask for Scott!!! He has the perfect personality for a wine tasting. His humor became amazingly more enjoyable as I continued to sip. I live in NJ, but I will travel here if ever I want to grab a bottle. No headaches involved with these wines. I cannot recommend enough.
Lovely deck with view.
Fun experience $20 wines tasting Scott was great
Nice pace.
I have driven past the signs for this winery so many times over the years, and finally today I went in. It did not disappoint! The setting was beautiful. The wine specialist was entertaining and had stories to tell, and the staff were very nice. They actually grow all of their grapes on site, which I find is not always the case with many wineries. Cab, Pinot, and their sangria base wine were all very good. Their reserve Chardonnay was also good, and I don't usually like Chardonnays. I think their wines are on par with the best wineries in the region. So glad I stopped by!
It was our 24 th anniversary !! We had Sam for our wine tasting !! She was excellent and made our Anniversary fun !! Gave us some great ideas for wine to part with !! thank you !!! Wine was so delicious!!
Scott who gave our tasting yesterday for Mother’s Day after the brunch at the winery we went to, was a fantastic host with such knowledge of wines and things to pair with and had such a lighthearted fun personality. Fun day with the girls
Unforgettable Tasting Experience at Sand Castle WinerySand Castle Winery provided the best wine tasting experience I've ever had – and I've been to quite a few wineries, even around the Finger Lakes! Our guide, Scott, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience feel like a delicious adventure. My wife and I joined another couple, and we all had an absolute blast. I'm typically not a fan of dry wines, but Sand Castle Winery transformed my opinion. Their dry wines were so incredibly fruity and smooth, I loved every single one. Sam was also fantastic, helping us pack up our case of wine to take home!!Thank you Sand Castle ?
My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Sand Castle Winery! We are staying in the area for a little vacation and decided to book a wine tasting session at Sand Castle. Our wine expert, Sam, guided us through the wine tasting and shared a lot about the winery's history, the winery's wine process, and accurately described each wine she poured. It was informative and entertaining. We left with 4 bottles of wine, one of which being their famous Alpine Spice, which is perfect for the winter time. I would recommend anyone coming here for a fun afternoon! I would advise finding your own means of transportation as we had issues getting consistent rides from Lyft and Uber just FYI! Thank you, Sam & Sand Castle Winery!
The best place. Stuff was so nice and kind. Will definitely be back. 100%%

Lovely time! The Fabulous 5 visited a yearand, this weekend was our annual gathering. The Mimosa was replaced by the WInesicle Wine.
My daughter (far end) surprised me (in the hat) with a birthday visit to the Sand Castle winery and it was a great treat. My sister and niece were the ultimate surprise. Our host, Brian was the absolute BEST! His humor and knowledge of their wines, and food pairings had me captivated. I was all giggles. Brian went above and beyond to, not only recommend a restaurant not too far away, but to sketch directions, roads and all. The only things missing were longitude and latitude coordinates (he has serious artistic skills ). I will definitely be making a return visit! Perhaps on one of their comedy happy hour nights. You gotta love the Cuvee!!!!! Best wine ever…
Great experience Wine tasting for $20 (12 wines) was a treat.Mark was knowledgeable of wines in general.Took a lot of photos around the area and also we purchased some of their wines.Definitely will be back soon for my friend's wedding.
It was a really nice place with great tasting wines and awesome views and great people working there
TOUR IS A WASTE OF MONEY. Standing in the parking lot, the “guide” points to the different vine in each direction, the ones here are this, the ones behind the building this, the ones on the driveway are this (a few mins) and then let’s see the cellar and wine process setup (few minutes) done. NOT A TOUR OF THE VINEYARD as advertised on the website and Groupon “Tour and Wine TastingTour our vineyard and enjoy 12 estate grown wines during this fun…” A parking lot view of distant vines and few minute cellar seeing, not a Vineyard tour of anything related to their 70+ acres. The tasting was good, but difunctional. We had a 3pm tour and tasting, were seated with for a tasting, provided the history and tasting…again the same info said during the tour about the vines around the building. Had to figure out where the tour was then after the tasting, as nothing was said or directed. Asking the bar help, the “guide” was outside already, and to see he started before us and another group were there too. from seeing the cellar, tells the same thing about each vine mentioned during the tasting. Very sad experience after visiting other wineries across Pennsylvania and can say it was the worst tour and most dysfunctional setup. To drive an hour plus, spend good money, and have this experience is a reason that I would not recommend to anyone, or visit again. The staff is short and we recognize that, and commend the bar staff and the girl who was running around like crazy but if this is how tours and tastings are coordinated, not commended.
