We were working in the area and decided to try Texas Backyard BBQ for the first time, and I’m so glad we did! I ordered the brisket cheesesteak with fries and Lonestar sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the flavors were spot on. On top of that, the service was outstanding, friendly, fast, and welcoming.

Can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you, Texas Backyard BBQ, for a great experience!

The woman who took our order over the phone was nice. Fries are dry and undercooked, could get better in the frozen section at the grocery store, bread was barely toasted on both our Cubans, hardly any pulled pork. Very disappointing. Bacon taste disgusting and chewy. Thankfully there were no issues when we asked for a refund.

Food was good. Looking at the pictures vs what I was given with my takeout order, I think somebody might have messed up. My wife and I decided to split the big feast. We very disappointed that we were sharing the sides we were given, 2 sides but they were in the same size container that the sauce came in. Essentially, we both got 3 bites of each side. When I look at the pictures of the sides you get with meals, it's 3 times as much. I thought things were bigger in Texas...

Amazing food. Best Brisket in da Burgh. Uncle Dave's sauce was my favorite. Waitress was great. Definitely go to here. Only gave 4 stars on atmosphere, but who gives a darn what is hanging on the wall when the meat is so good.

I live in Pittsburgh and granted I haven't tried every single barbecue spot, but this place knocked my socks right off. It's the best I've had. The barbecue here was on point. Delicious and mouth-watering. The service was great and the place was nice. I will definitely be back!!!

Nice people, good service, and clean. I found them brisket and pork to be a bit on the dry side. I tried three of the sauces and didn’t care much for any of them. I make my own at home so I’m a bit snobby in that area. Hamburger was great and so was the service. I’ll give it another shot.

Stood at the door waiting to be seated for 15 minutes. Wait staff just walked around didn't even look at us with open tables available. First time going to eat here and will never go again. Never got seated walked out.

Not a better place in Butler County to have a meal and a locally brewed beer! Travis and the entire team here put the customer 1st! Not only is the food amazing, the staff truly wants you to have a great experience. Personally I am a fan of the burnt ends (when available) they are a masterpiece...ask about them!

You cannot ever go wrong with their wings...and ALL of Butler county agrees as they WON the best overall WING at the 2025 Wingfest!

Amazing food, Great beers and Superb staff!!! Everyone goes above and beyond to make your experience the best. Fun featured activities and events and the food always fantastic.

I ordered the chicken, pulled pork, brisket and wings for my son's graduation party. Tyler was so wonderful to work w. He helped me put together an awesome menu! The meats were all PHENOMENAL. Literally ALL of the guests wanted to know where it all came from. The brisket and wings were especially popular! Mancini buns were split for us and ready to go as well as 4 huge tubs of their special homemade sauces.....also amazing. Highly recommend BackHome Barbeque. We will be ordering again. 👌🏽😃
