We had high expectations since getting a reservation is so difficult. Parking was free and plentiful. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. We were seated immediately and given menus. Entree prices ranged from $36-56. The hostess was nice and returned to the table to describe a long list of specials that were hard to remember. There were as many specials as there were items on the menu. It would have been helpful if the specials were presented in writing. The server was sweet. Bread was served immediately and was delicious. I ordered a bone-in pork chop special and my spouse ordered baked cod. The pork chop was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The food was average at best - not bad but certainly didn’t blow us away. The price for my pork chop was $56 and somewhat of a surprise since it was $20 more than the boneless pork chop on the menu. For us, Clifford’s didn’t live up to its reputation . The food didn’t knock our socks off. It really wasn’t exceptional, as expected.

Clifford’s was a treat to finally be able to get a reservation and the anticipation was very high given the exclusivity and price. Ultimately we were happy we went, service was great, parts of the meal were fantastic but others were just not quite there for the price. Crab cake appetizer was off the charts but my prime rib entree was pretty tough and lacking much flavor. We left happy and glad we got to try it and meet the amazing folks that run Clifford, but decided it’s not worth the reservation process or price. With many other outstanding options in the area like Della Terra or off the hook, I don’t find a huge need to go back but glad it exists.
This place has an outstanding reputation by many who see it as a 5 star restaurant, I certainly can see how others can get there but for me it was 4 stars, when comparing to other restaurants in the area and the difficult reservation process.

A little pricey but unique. Food was great and breads were excellent. All homemade offerings.Be careful what you order that isn't priced on the menu. A slice of pie was $16.
Wonderful experience and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit
Call early in the year they fill up fast. Already booked thru December
Fantastic food!
Fabulous hidden gem. Takes months to get a reservation. Worth the wait.
My wife and I eat here regularly and we'd strongly recommend it to everyone. It's a fantastic restaurant with a comprehensive menu to satisfy anyone's desires. The staff is very attentive and the food is fantastic. For those who experience difficulties in making individual reservations I'd STRONGLY encourage you to make your reservations for an ENTIRE YEAR, so as to ensure your ongoing reservations without having to call.
Echoing what recent reviewers said, Clifford's is a wonderful experience from start to finish! We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed. Our party of 8 had 4 variations of Surf and Turf [including 12 oz lobster tails], Chicken Romano, Crab Cakes, Chilean Sea Bass, French onion and Mushroom soup, 3 appetizers and of course the fresh baked breads and rolls. Everything was amazing and delicious! We finished the evening with Coconut Cheesecake and Crème Brule - heavenly!
Kudos to Brandon our server too!

Never disappointed here! It is soo good, from start to finish. Greeter/hostess, waitstaff are very cordial. Fabulous dinner rolls, delicious homemade blue cheese dressing, and every entree I’ve had (or sampled from my spouse) has been superior to every other restaurant. The lamb, crab cakes, pork chop, and chicken Romano cannot be beat! Potato dishes all awesome, as well as desserts. Wonderful special occasion dining.
Food was just ok
Amazing food, staff and atmosphere!! My husband and I can't wait to go back. This place is a true hidden gem with the freshest food with amazing flavor.
This place is amazing! The food, the service, everything is top notch. The owners really know how to treat you and their love of great food and hospitality shows! Highly recommend, but you better call now to get a reservation- they book up fast. It is always well worth the wait!
If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. Like most people, we've been waiting a while to get a reservation, and let me tell you the wait is worth it. The atmosphere is intimate and classic. The service is top notch. Our waitress was so friendly and so knowledgeable. She was attentive and quick when we needed anything. The food is outstanding. The specials really showcase the seasonal vegetables and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cucumber vinegarette dressing is a slam dunk! One of the best dressing is I've ever had. We will for sure be back!
