The restaurant side of John’s Bar is decent. It’s a local restaurant and separate attached bar. The staff is usually quite friendly and helpful. The food is good, and a couple of the items are great. I’ve never been over to the bar side for some reason. I’m usually there for lunch during the week, which I guess is the reason!
I was there the night the tornado hit as we had frequented John's Bar as part of our routine after every baseball game. Fantastic prices (I am blown away at how inexpensive it is) and the quality is top notch. My personal favorite are the drumettes. Just wanted to say I had a woman wait on me about 10 minutes ago. She was not bartender, I think she was cooking. She had long blonde-red hair, and brought my order of wings/fries out, and cashed me out. She was GREAT! Not going to lie, I haven't ordered food from you guys in a long time because the bartender that I encountered last time was very rude. Not the bartender working tonight; it was about a year ago and a man... very rude. He kept almost $5 change after cashing...
