I recently hosted an event at American Grill and BBQ in Exeter, PA, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From start to finish, the staff was accommodating, attentive, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the ideal spot to gather and celebrate. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which allowed me to truly enjoy the event without any stress. I just picked food up and I have to say I'm so disappointed. The meat was so dry it was barely eatable. The mac n cheese has no cheese just noodles. The beans are hard as a rock. Ive ate here before it was decent. Not sure what happened.
Ordered through door dash at noon, this food was atrocious. There's no excuse for the food to be as old and dried out as it was. The brisket looked like imitation meat it literally was like thin slices of jerky. The Mac and cheese was so old that the cheese hardened and dried out it was like eating plastic. There was zero flavor. I'll never order or recommend ordering here to anyone. Especially with what they have the audacity to charge.

My family and I decided to order online for American Grill & BBQ. It’s relatively close and we didn’t have to wait too long to get our food, about 20 minutes.
I got the crispy chicken sandwich which was supposed to be dipped in ranch, but it wasn’t. The sandwich was actually pretty good. It wasn’t dry and it was tasty. The buns were soggy which I don’t mind, but others might. Now I got a side of Mac and cheese and it was flavorless, legit tasted like nothing. My family got other items like pulled pork and the chicken cheesesteak and they all enjoyed it, which is surprising because they are picky.
The food was good but keep in mind it is greasy and oily. It’s not necessarily healthy but it was yummy, besides the Mac and cheese. We didn’t dine in so we can’t comment on the service or ambiance, but overall the food was pretty good.
**EDIT: All of my family have upset stomachs while digesting the food. Did not sit well for them.
