I was a bit tentative about bringing guests here for the first time tonight just because of some of the mixed reviews online. But I can tell you, this place is great. The food was fresh and very good. The portions were large. We all had to bring some home. The prices, I thought, were very reasonable. I listened to some of the reviews I read and asked for Madison for our server as so many said she was fantastic. She was! Friendly, attentive, saw that everything came out perfectly. She saw to it that we had a perfect experience. Even added a table to our table to make it bigger when we had a lot of plates. She was absolutely fantastic in every way. I’ll be requesting her every time I go. The outside seating was so nice with great live music but not so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. Everything about our experience tonight was great!
I will definitely be going back again!!!!!!!!!

The food at Al pastor changed my life. I sat down expecting an average Mexican meal, but it was nothing like that. I ordered the nacho daddy and it was amazing.

Atmosphere feels very “forced” and unauthentic… kind of like the suburban , upper middle class version of Ciudad de Mexico.
Waitstaff was somewhat disengaged and inattentive.
Food was just bad. Picture placing cooked meat in a soft taco, deep frying it and not draining the taco before serving it. Everyone likes a mouth full of fryer grease.
Go somewhere authentic with flavorful dishes and skip this copycat.

The small menu is a big plus, it shows they focus on quality ingredients, and everything comes out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. The cocktails are fresh and creative, the mixed drinks are excellent, and the beer list is impressive. I really liked the unique tabletops and overall vibe of the place, modern yet relaxed. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It's definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Restaurantji Recommends
We ordered nachos and steak quesadillas
Nachos were quite bare - not much cheese, beans etc
Steak was cold and over cooked

Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food! Live acoustic music on a Thursday evening was a very nice touch. Gorgeous outdoor seating blocked from the sun.
Manager Brinn always makes us feel welcome both at Al Pastor and at the sister restaurant Revival. Aubrey was a fantastic waitress.
Highly recommend the shrimp tacos.
Thank you!

We come here regularly we love the fajita pizza and the cauliflower tacos are the best tacos (this is coming from a huge meat eater as well)! The nachos and cocktails are also very good sour only complaint is that they don’t do happy hour outside. I really think they should change this. We would come so much more often if they did happy hour outside.

This is the most bland Mexican food I've ever tasted. I ordered nachos that came with 5 different toppings. I added salt and pepper to nachos! A waste of money. Secondly, if you order take-out, why aren't my toppings separated being as though chips get soggy fast?

Everything was good but finally we got the cheque and we were 3 adults and 2 kids.
I paid by card and the waitress told us to sign the receipt so I signed and give back. But after I use the wash room and came out some on in the front hold me to ask where is the tips? Why no tip? Very rudely behaved , I understand tips are important for the service but it’s not compulsory. So she the manager (or the front desk girl) urged us to and forced us to take tips very worst. They can ask us in polite
Finally the shrimp and avocado salad which we had just 3 shrimps and rest are salad 17$ it’s was not worth it. Totally it’s waste they made our lunch in angry mood.
