I've been going here to support local business since this opened 18 months ago. but the service overall has become worse. Constant repairs are always in need (drink machine, the front door, etcetera). the food, especially desserts, taste flakey and left out longer. won't be going back.
Terrible experience. Missing 60% of my doordash order and the other was missing. Why even fulfill it if you are going to mess it up! Second time we have had bad service and won't be back.
My mom and I stopped by today at about 1:15pm. Several customers outside waiting (hours said open at 11am). Lights on, open sign lit. No sign of anyone. A customer waiting outside paid for her order online and was there to pick up. I felt bad for her! Several of us called, no answer. We knocked and knocked. Hopefully, no one was inside hurt... but my guess is incompetent/undependable workers.
Well at one time bm in exton had a great crew. Unfortunately now they are all gone. Service leaves a lot to be desired . Food was not hot. But that's what management wants. So be it. CFF
Rarely ever do reviews, ordered online than drove 20 minutes to pick up food to only find out they where out of all the items I ordered. Than had to jump through hoops just to get a refund. Drive the extra 10 minutes and go to west Chester l.
I’ve been to this store twice run the last two weeks because I really like Boston Market food. Both times they were out of almost everything. Today I ordered three hours in advance and they couldn’t fill my order. At 5 pm the only sides they had were creamed spinach and Mac and cheese. I ordered $100 worth of food- I wanted two each of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, broccoli, corn and ceasar salad. Oh and three chickens. They were out of chicken, so I got two chickens and meatloaf, 5 creamed spinaches and 5 Mac and cheese. Why would a chicken restaurant be out of chicken at 5 pm??? Dinner time?? Last week was a comedy of errors as well. Not sure what is happening here, but they need better management or they are going to end up out of business.
Aja the lady who greeted us was amazing. Her service and smile were contiguous. I wish More people had her energy and charisma.
As of July 13th 2022, I will never frequent this Boston Market again after going to order my lunch. I walked in expecting to see Hector and his wife. As soon as I opened the door, I knew something was amiss. No menu on the overhead screen, a bunch of men in dark blue shirts spraying, steaming, cleaning. So I went up to the counter and called out 'can you help me please' at which point a man came around to the counter and asked what I wanted. So I asked him if Hector was in and he replied, somewhat rudely, I don't know who you're talking about. I said Hector or his wife. And again he replied that he didn't know who they were and that this store was NOT OPEN for business yet. So, stunned as I was, I asked if he knew of the next closest Boston Market store was to which he replied, I think in West Chester (which btw, although only 10 minutes away, was in a town with massive traffic problems. So this ends my wonderful relationship with Boston Market... At least for now. And yes of course I will contact Boston Market CORPORATE to voice my concerns. (Boston Market is a great place to get lunch and dinner. Great because their food tastes great, isn't too expensive and there's never a long wait. My personal favorite is the Meat Loaf with Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. Comes in study plastic containers which are perfect for reheating in the microwave. ?And food preparer Hector is friendly and sees me about 3 times per week. And Counter woman Peggy is a delight. And I couldn't give a darn about Boston Market's low reviews but I love the food, for like $11.00 I actually get 2 full meals. $5.50 a full meal! ? Therefore, they are quick, friendly and never too crowded (I guess people do read the reviews). See you guys at this Boston Market in a couple of days ?And I met Hector's wife Saeeda today, 6/6/22, and she is also a delight ????????)
I love this Boston Market. The staff is friendly. The food is awesome. They have a couple tables there now. I always do take out anyway, but people can sit down there if they want to at the new tables. Two are outside! Very nice. Try their desserts!!!!
i have never had boston market. my aunt is from boston and i have visited her multiple times, i enjoy the food there. i was expecting typical boston cuisine when i arrived however i was met with rather pleasant sandwiches and deli meats instead. great restuarant, slightly deceiving in the name but still very wonderful.

Nice and friendly employee took order. Food wasn't very good or warm. Only 2 small tables to sit at.Edit: Ray - Sounds like you want to improve. The service folks need to stick near the counter if a customer stays to eat. They disappeared and didn't have fork and knife. The food is not good and we like it normally. Over cooked and dry. Good luck.
So this is my first time ordering from Boston Market. I’m not from this area, I’m just here watching my friend’s children. They have been begging for Boston Market for days! They told me their orders and said they usually get a substitution for one of the sides because they are obsessed with Boston Market Mac n cheese and always want more but I could not find were to do that. I called the restaurant and spoke with Saeeda. As it turns out they typically don’t do substitutions anymore but Saeeda went out of her way to help me and kept an eye out for my order! What a wonderful experience working with the manager and staff at the Exton Boston Market! Always cheerful and go out of their way to make sure the order is correct and the customer is pleased. So happy we have this store nearby!
I ordered a 3 piece quarter dark. Came in to pick it up and there was one employee, female in the back working. She saw me but didn't acknowledge me or say just a moment. I waited 5 minutes then she came up front. When I finally got my order it was 8:45pm. Got home and only 2 pieces not 3 and was extremely small in size. Very disappointed not only with the service but quality of food and quantity of portions. Last time I was at this location was around Thanksgiving and they completely got my order wrong. The manager did have them redo my order and threw in some extra deserts for the inconvenience. This location is always under staffed and you roll the dice on your food being fully cooked
The food just is not that good anymore. The food quality at Boston Markets has noticeably gone down from what it used to be years ago- it's been sold off, cost cut and franchised to hell. Bleh.
