Wasn’t impressed with Chophouse recently. We have eaten here one other time and remember why we haven’t been back. We had 8 people and got seated at a 6 seat with two on the end. This limits your space for the people on the end. I mentioned something to the host and they didn’t care. Service was very slow. About 25 minutes to get drinks. We ordered 2 buffalo shrimp appetizers and they had shells on the bottom. You should make sure the shrimp are cleaned very well before breading them. We all bit into shells. $20 salads were not huge portions. My husbands steak was so tough. The worst steak he ever had. Texas Roadhouse is better. The only good thing was our server. She was nice. It was my dad’s birthday and he didn’t even get a complimentary dessert. We had to order the cake for him to get something. We have had better experiences elsewhere and will not be back.

ChopHouse Grill in Exton is an excellent dining spot that delivers on both food and service. From the moment we walked in, our waitress set the tone for a great experience — caring, courteous, attentive to details. The food was great, especially the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer, which was packed with flavor, and the crab cakes and sandwiches, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. We also tried a couple of their cocktails and were pleasantly surprised by both the presentation and taste.

I’ve been to Chophouse Grill several times, and the food and service have been consistently great. The restaurant is clean with a nice, upscale interior and a good selection of dishes. Prices are on the higher side, but everything is delicious and the servers are always friendly. A solid choice every time.

We had a reservation made nearly 2 weeks ahead of time and although the restaurant was not at all crowded on this Sunday evening, we were initially jammed into a separate closed off room for our party if 6. Barely room to sit being backed up between the door to get in the room and another party if 6. We asked to be moved and were taken to a terrific table at the opposite end of the restaurant which worked out great. Food was very good - service by Lily was outstanding!

Lexi, Sam and Alyssa were great in running the Autumn Alchemy Cocktail class. It was fantastic! Great drinks, well ran, plenty of food and over all better than I could have expected. We LOVE Chop House for all our family and date nights and this is just an added bonus.
