My appetizer was just ok. I'm not crazy about crab imperial mixtures and that's what the mushrooms seemed to be stuffed with. It was just ok. My scallops and shrimp dinner was very good, and my dining companions meals were also very good. The blueberry cosmo did not taste similar to past cosmos, so it was a bit of a disappointment. The Bellini just tasted like Prosecco, it needed more fruit essence added, or something. Dessert, as always, was excellent.

Outstanding experience. Had drinks at bar and bartender is personable and attentive. Dinner was superb- rack of lamb and Norwegian salmon. Lobster bisque is so good. Our waiter, Kurt, was delightful and hope to see him next time.

The food here, although very pricey, is very good. The ambience is lovely and the servers efficient and friendly. The wife/owner, however, is neither gracious nor friendly. And by that I mean not at all, on any occasion I have dined there. It almost ruins the experience. I guess she feels the customers are not at all important, in spite of the money they leave behind. A lovely historic place like this deserves better.

We like Duling Kurtz for special occasions and Easter was one of those. Our server, Kurt, was excellent. The Easter menu was just right with enough entrees and the rack of lamb, which my wife and I both had, was outstanding. The building and grounds are attractive and historic and one of the few such left in Chester County. Prices are steep, which makes it fit for a specual occasion.

We arrived early for our reservations but were seated promptly. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Dinner quality was excellent - one had a filet and the other rack of lamb - both cooked to perfection. Presentation on the plate was attractive and the portions were good without being overwhelming. Enjoyed looking at the bucolic setting while eating.

It was such a great evening on March 30, celebrating my birthday. We were seated in the porch room and had Amy as our server. She remembered us and was very attentive and bubbly. Amy kept making sure we had a popover or our drinks were replenished. She even jumped into a picture. She accommodated my husband's meal by switching out broccolini for green beans. My lobster crepes were yummy and the best part was the cappuccino ice cream dessert. I'm very excited to have my leftovers tomorrow or the next day.

Celebrating a birthday. Steak dinner, salmon dinner, and striped bass special were all excellent! Waiter Curt was attentive and friendly. We always come here for our special events

Been here three times. Service and atmosphere are always very nice. Food was exceptional a few years ago, but has slipped a little, IMHO. Also, $37 for a smallish, overcooked chicken breast, gravy, some mashed potatoes and a few asparagus stalks seems a tad high to me in 2024. Salmon portion also seemed small. Sorry, just not enough food for the price.

Best European cuisine I’ve had. Desserts and wine selection are unmatched!

The old country house is in need of a much overdue facelift. This property needs an investment and some TLC to bring it back to its former glory. The staff is lovely. Menu prices high. They need to spruce up the grounds, the Inn as well as the restaurants. A good spring clean would do you good. Also consider a weekend brunch. Best of luck

We LOVE this place. The food and the atmosphere are just perfect for a little romantic dinner. The staff is very accomodating, we are fortunate that we live so close and can visit often.

We each had French onion soup which was fantastic. We both loved it! Our entrees were a chicken dish and ciopinno; both were good. There were 9 different desserts on the menu, some GF. Service was great. Our server was new; he will do fine there. The only thing we didn't like was mandatory valet, which we didn't expect, with clockwise drop off which meant the driver was closer to the door. Weird setup. We also didn't know that valet was free until end of night (tip what you'd like) which left us uneasy bc we didn't know if it would cost $10 or$30. The valet's did tell us either. A "free valet" sign would be nice. At end of night, valet brought car but bc of traffic pattern, brought it far from standing area so my bf had to get keys from valet, put it in park, then come let me into car (I had hands full). Seems small but for patrons, it's the first and last impression. Overall, had a great night and highly recommend the place.

My partner and I had an exhausting day at the hospital and needed to treat ourselves for a late Valentine's dinner. Our service was superb and the dinner was even more outstanding!! We are mega foodies from San Francisco and know what a delicious meal taste like and I must say the dishes should've gotten a Michelin star here! We are definitely planning to return hopefully for Jazz night and dinner again!!

Lovely Valentine's/Anniversary dinner. We got the Lena room as requested. So cozy and pretty with fireplace and candles. We had the nicest young man (Kurt) for our waiter. I loved my lobster crepe. My husband thought the Wiener schnitzel could have had more flavor. The popovers with lemon curd are wonderful. We will be back.

This is a hidden Gem. If you have never been here I highly recommend. The food was fantastic. The staff was amazing and it was such a busy night as it was Valentine's Day but even though it was a busy night the food and the service was impeccable.
