Issho sushi and steakhouse

Conveniently located! I have been to Issho twice now. I was very warmly greeted by a familiar front of house staff and escorted to either a wet or sushi bar of my choosing. This restaurant has everything anyone could want and it’s beautiful! I mean absolutely breathtaking! My server and bartender Linh met and exceeded any expectations I had for a new restaurant! I was expertly guided through the menu, crafted cocktail list, and a wine selection curated by someone who actually cares what we drink and not how much money they can make. Tonight I had world class Udon(that I came HERE for), tempura, skewers, and mochi. There are not enough stars. I’ll come back for drinks and I will make sure me and my friends are hungry!

I am new to the area and ordered door dash.
(The dasher arrived as soon as the food was ready, and was only 10 minutes away. So this was 1000% on the restaurant only).
Teriyaki chicken hibachi, miso soup, a Cali roll, and a Thai iced tea.
Welp, I ATTEMPTED to eat the hibachi (terrible decision after seeing what it looked like). And pretty immediately after the chicken hit my stomach I got sick. I am a single mom with an infant, who’s had quite a week… I hate to admit it but all I wanted was to eat while I had an hour to.
Miso soup was okay, it was basically just water… it’s my favorite thing to eat too so another stab to the heart there!
By the time I stopped feeling like my insides were going to come up with the chicken, my Cali roll just seemed like too big of a risk. The only thing to take the edge off such a disgusting meal was the Thai iced tea. Too bad it’s now empty, and there is no end in sight for my night.
Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else if you expect to function after having your dinner.

Living close by and having a sushi addiction, i want to love this place...but sadly i can't get there. The food was as bad as you would expect from a strp mall japanese restaurant but the service was horrid.

This is a good place to eat and in the area it is a very nice restaurant and very clean. The atmosphere is great depending on where you sit and the service is like a regular restaurant. The food is good and it has many options but it can feel a little bland sometimes. But overall, I recommend!

No utensils, Entrees coming out before soup and salad, tiny sushi rolls, and inattentive staff. Might have just been a bad night, but man. Just poor.
