We are regulars at Malgudi cafe and recently ordered a catering service for a family function. Everything related to the service was amazing - from understanding our requirements, transparency regarding expectations (we had to go back and forth on the delivery frequency and timings as they make everything fresh and couldn't deliver both breakfast and lunch at the same time). The delivery charge was slightly above our budget but we were hosting almost 40 miles away from the city and didn't have an option. The food was exceptional though and as they mentioned, was made fresh. Literally every guest complimented the food without fail. Here is the menu we ordered if anyone is interested: Breakfast: Medu Vada, Idli, Kesari bath, and coffee. Lunch: Bisibele Bath, Curd Rice, Tamarind rice, Beans Poriyal, kosumalli and payasam.

Waited for 10 mins before anyone came to seat us. Another 20 mins went past but no one came to take the order despite the host looking at us and arrogantly telling that he will come to take order in sequence of seating. Everyone who came after had their order taken.. Others before us seemed to be frustratingly waiting on their already placed order. Never got to taste the food and probably never will.

Their dosa is very very tasty and flavorful, absolutely authentic. Combos are very good deal, you can try a variety of different food, all tasted very very good. The masala chai is very very good as well. Definitely recommend to come try.

My wife and I went for dinner tonight around 6 pm. We had been to this place few times and while the food is good service has been mixed. Tonight it was very poor. My wife's order never came and I had finished mine. I could see arrivals after us were served and we were left high and dry! We left without my wife having anything. The Manager should be looking at these things rather than only talking with some acquaintance all the time.
