I don't understand the high ratings this place has. Samosa chat was below average. It was like channa curry with few bits of samosa in between! Couldn't finish my Chicken Tikka roll. Even the plain dosa was not good..there was something that looked like Tomato chutney, but without any flavor whatsoever. The only saving grace was Channa Batura. Went with high expectations after reading reviews, but will not be visiting again.

I came here for my sister's place and I have been in the USA for 3 months and really miss South Indian food badly. The food was too good and worth trying everything at this place. I loved the taste and it reminded me of the taste I hadn't tasted for months! Would definitely recommend this place to people who stay here!

My experience here was truly exceptional, especially for a quick bite!
The ability to pre-order my food before I shopped at Apna Bazar was incredibly helpful. By the time I was done with my shopping, my meal was ready and waiting for me to pick up on my way out. It's the ultimate in convenience.
The food itself was absolutely delicious. I loved every dish I tried, but the Indo-Chinese options were a definite highlight and a must-try. To top it all off, the service was exceptional—friendly, efficient, and very accommodating.
If you're looking for an incredibly convenient and delicious meal, I highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed!

We repeatedly have Kokarako cater all our events - sometimes with more than 500 attendees. The food has always been great - esp the Biryani - and their spread of choices is really good across veg and non veg and also across different Indian cuisines. The team is great to work with, always flexible to meet the needs of the organizers and very responsive to changes in plans. Overall, great partners for organized events and delicious food for family dining.

We had chicken dum briyani and it was one of best tasting in this area, we also ordered some grill chicken which was too go that special sauce was a great match for the grill chicken.

Today, I ordered dum biriyani and samosa chaat. Unfortunately, the biriyani tasted terrible. It was just rice with chicken curry, which was disappointing. I’m not sure why they offer so many different varieties of biriyani when it seems like they've never actually made or experienced authentic biriyani before. I feel like I wasted $13.99 on it. The chaat was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone try the dum biriyani from this restaurant.

I finally stopped in at Kokarako Grill & Chaat in Exton and the star of the show was hands-down their whole grilled chicken. It arrived beautifully charred, juicy throughout, and bursting with those signature Indian spices. The seasoning balanced smoky, tangy, and savory notes flawlessly—every bite was tender and packed with flavor.

To accompany it, I had a side of their Pani Puri Chaat, crisp and bright with just the right punch of spice and tang—an addictive counterpoint to the hearty chicken. The staff were welcoming and the dining area was clean and comfortable, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.

If you’re in Exton and craving a seriously well-executed grilled chicken with bold Indian spices, Kokarako Grill & Chaat absolutely delivers. I’ll be back soon to try more of their chaat offerings!

As someone new to Downingtown, I visited Apna Bazaar for some groceries and couldn’t resist the delicious smell from their kitchen. I ended up trying the grilled chicken, street-style fried rice, and Thalappakatti biryani—and I was not disappointed! As an Indian, I’ve been looking for those real home-style flavors, and this place nailed it. The grilled chicken is a must-try, and the fried rice was spot on. The ambience is lovely with a nice green touch. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly!
