Leaving a 1 star review only because of hidden charges. Food is great, but tacos are $4.49 and yet I get charged $13 for two tacos? When you ask for a receipt you just get a receipt with the total price but no itemization so you can understand how $4.49 x 2 becomes $13. Not cool Taco Maya.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I love the staff and how nice everyone is. The food is to die for!! I legit am writing this at 11:27 pm while craving taco maya. I need one of these in my college town I don’t know how I will survive without my kids chicken quesadilla with al pastor chicken and a side of cheese dip.

The go-to for me and the fam. Fresh food, well prepared. Always feel like I got a good, healthy meal after eating here, so we eat here all the time.

They don’t disclose that some items like queso or quac are EXTRA CHARGE (and a hefty one at that !), they also don’t print RECEIPTS unless you ask and you better ask twice because they’ll just pretend like they either don’t hear it or understand English. Walked away from trying this one feeling bitter and mislead and downright scammed because when I actually looked at my receipt, there were $6 of hidden charges I would have not known about. Beware and always ask for a receipt.
Also, now that I’ve read through some of the reviews about HAIR in food and sexual jokes being made about young women- I will never give them a dime of my hard earned money. This needs to be reported.

One of my favorite places to get lunch. Fresh food made with real ingredients. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I usually get a burrito bowl or tortilla soup.

This fast casual has very very flavorful Mexican food. Incredible meat marinades. I wish the chicken and beef I cook tasted this good. They have most of the classical Mexican dishes on the menu but what separates Maya far from the pack is the quality and variety of their delicious meats, fresh toppings, salsas and guacamole.

The workers are friendly and are pros. They quickly manage the volume they get at the busy lunch and dinner times.

Atmosphere is designed very well, plenty of seating and is above what you would expect for a fast casual.

My absolute favorite fast casual Mexican spot!

Food was good, the guys behind the counter all talked really quiet can't hear them not really sure if they can hear what's going on. They didn't exactly put the stuff we asked for in the food but it still tasted good. If I was really particular about my order I would have probably been upset.

It’s too bad they can’t listen when asking what you want. They ask what kind of beans I’d like in the bowl and I tell them and say ā€œbut can you please drain them really wellā€, proceeds to nod and dump beans full of water in the bowl. If you get a bowl here you’ll be drinking from it.

Excellent food, particularly the burrito bowls and quesadillas. Service is usually friendly and staff is helpful in selecting something different every time.
The decor is spartan, but always clean and inviting.

I really like the bowls here. The service was absolutely wonderful and beat Chipotle. There are so many varieties of sauces. It was hard to tell which kinds I wanted. If I were to decide which place to get a Mexican bowl, I would pick this place hand down!

some of the employees were making inappropriate jokes about my friend and staring at her chest which was very uncomfortable and disturbing.

as far as the food, i found it to be not very good. no good veggie options. i ordered just side of beans and rice its was like $8 for a small side cup.
