the place is closed now... but i loved coming here. the food was always on point and loved seeing the all the regulars. everyone knows each other and its like a big get together ❤ Fridays and Saturdays Joe was always there playing the piano. Nothing like hearing Piano playing in the background while having a nice dinner. I surely will miss this place!

Great local establishment that’s been here for years and years. It’s undergone a change of hands a few times over the past 30+ years but a solid choice for dinner. Great old fashion bar with character and feel. If you haven’t visited, it’s worth a try and I believe you’ll be happy.

Over priced and stuffy place, looking forward to White Dog.

closing after 50 years so wanted to go back after first trip 2 years ago. stellar service with Kevin! Wellington and Dover sole excellent! bisque and tempura lobster tasty but chili sauce for tempura a bit spicy but my husband loved it. caprese appetizer very good but overpriced for 20.00 as well as french onion soup for 15. but entrees playing and taste top notch and hand filleted side table sole exceptional! only 5 days recommend to go try also offer lighter fare in charming tavern..

Loved vickers its a shame they closed I hope the next restaurant to move in doesn't take away the beauty or the fine dining

Amazing, as expected. Quaint, beautiful farmhouse, cozy fireplace, wonderful ambience to complement the outstanding menu and cocktails. I have a hard time not choosing the escargot when I am here; it's prepared wonderfully. Beef Wellington was the main entree, also prepared exactly as ordered. So disappointed to hear that this wonderful restaurant will be soon closing. You will be missed!

It was just as good as ever. Upon arrival the hostess was very pleasant and had our table waiting. Service was excellent; Kevin didn't rush us, gave us plenty of time to enjoy cocktails and between each course without hovering. We both ordered the tempura lobster as an appetizer. It was presented nicely, although to my liking the chili sauce could be toned down just a bit. Both of us agree the Dover Sole is the best anywhere. Filleted table side, accompaniments of baby carrots, fresh green beans and pan seared potatoes. While the meunière sauce was a finishing touch but yet not to overpower the delicate sole. I declined dessert, my guest ordered the Apple strudel. She neglected to mention her allergies to strawberries while the presentation had a drizzle of berry sauce. It was immediately removed only to be returned as a fresh plate. They couldn't have been more accommodating to make the evening most enjoyable. It's so sad to see this restaurant and an era of fine dining disappear.

Went here for a great birthday dinner for my dad. Everyone had a delicious meal that was well executed.

This is a beautiful restaurant in a romantic setting evocative of a colonial inn. It is also well-situated in Exton (Lionsville), with ample, easy parking. The various dining rooms are charmingly appointed and the music on weekends is a plus (some guests even sang along, a nice addition). But that is where the positives stop: the service---while appropriate---was perfunctory and less than friendly; the food was good but not exceptional or even "very" good (the exception being the excellent and way over-priced deserts); the prices exorbitantly ridiculous. Save your money (even if you have enough to throw away) and go to a place where they show respect for their clients---who make for their livelihood, after all---and go to many other fine dining options in the area and the Main Line where both you and your money are valued and respected. I was planning on taking my son to Vickers for his mid-year graduate school graduation: we will be heading to Capital Grille instead.

We were surprised to find how loud it was at Vickers on Friday night. The service was very good. The food was ok about what you would expect. Just didn't have the special occasion feel. Disappointed

My wife and I searched for a high end restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary and found Vickers and we're really glad we did! Great food, great service, and great ambience! Give them a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I just wandered onto a review of this restaurant and wanted to share my thoughts on Vickers. I used to work there many many years ago - late 90’s (I know I’m biased) and wanted to a share my thoughts on Arturo and his legacy. After many years of thought and experience,I tip my cap to that great restaurant man and his family. Honestly- it wasn’t all one man and it rarely is… but that family knew what it took to be successful and they have clearly carried on the tradition. For those of you who have a place where they are known as “regulars”… you know what I’m referring to…. Places like this create a sense of family of which you are a member… from employee to customer… we were all family. I was a “goomba” but that was huge!!! Huge cap tip to the Vickers folks for keeping the tradition of fine dining alive.

This was a lovely outdoor setting with Sinatra music in the background. Our meal was delicious and perfectly cooked to order: shrimp cocktail, steak Diane, filet mignon, potatoes, asparagus and carrots, and creme brûlée. Our drinks were well-sized and the cranberry-vodka-champagne cocktail was nicely tart. The only negative was the lobster bisque, which had little flavor and chewy lumps of tasteless lobster.
