We stopped at VK while in the area doing some shopping and it was soooo good! The hot honey and pepperoni pizza was amazing, and the fries with the sauce they served with were equally delicious. Drinks and beer were good as well. All in all was a great spot, we will definitely return.

We were up in that area antiuqing and stumbled upon this place. What a great place in a historic building. A brewery that has an awesome bar. The food!!! was dynamite. I got the Itilain Roast Pork and my wife got the Prime Rib Cheese Steak. Both were 10/10. The bartenders and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will be hitting this place again in the future when in that area.

We were in the area and were looking for a moderately priced place to get a light meal. I found this restaurant online, checked out the menu, and it looked just right. We decided to give it a try, and are glad we did.

We were able to get a table easily, although the restaurant was rather full. Our waitress, Cassidy, came to the table promptly and took our drink order. We placed our food order when our drinks came, and Cassidy asked if we wanted everything all at once, or if our salads would be a main course. We asked for appetizers and soup first, then the salads.

Cassidy was a pro. Our salads were ready when we were finished with the soup and appetizers. She checked in on us regularly, even though it was a busy Saturday night. In fact, I noticed that the staff at VK was always moving, checking on customers, bussing the tables, and keeping things moving. They were super.

The food was delicious, and presentation was appetizing. I had the whipped ricotta and honey appetizer, which was served with fig spread and buttered toast. It was a generous portion, and I took my leftovers home. My husband had the mushroom bisque, which was phenomenal. He also had the spinach and artichoke dip, which was quite good. I highly recommend these.

For our main course, I had the wedge salad. It was a generous portion and was superb. My husband had the spinach salad and added a salmon filet. He enjoyed it very much.

The menu has selections that will appeal to a wide variety of tastes. I found the prices reasonable. There is a wide selection of beer and specialty cocktails as well.

The atmosphere is the only place I gave a 4 star rating. It's a lovely place, formerly The Ship Inn, located in a historic building. I found it a bit noisy, mainly because it's a very open space with little to no noise absorption. We were there at a peak time, so that is to be expected. Still, it's not enough to stop me from visiting again. Also, the ladies' room was a bit messy, but that is to be expected on a busy Saturday. When I brought it to our server's attention that there were no paper towels, she took care of it right away.

There is ample parking.

There also appears to be options for private parties, but I did not confirm that. There are two separate rooms that are closed off from the main area.

All in all, it was a very nice experience and I recommend VK Brewing Co & Eatery highly.

Really good food. Nice and friendly staff. They often host live music in the form of acoustic sets. If you like oysters check and see which night they do dollar oysters.

The restaurant offers both handcrafted beer, cocktails and food. Very friendly atmosphere. Few menu items exceed expectations. Fried green tomato was a perfect balance of flavors with fresh cheese and handmade dressing.
Service is always friendly and attentive. Good for families and groups, a strongly recommended place.

The old Ship's Inn is replaced. Veteran-owned brewery, taproom, and restaurant, so of course I'll support a veteran. Still various rooms to sit in, but some brighter inside decor. Clean and goid service. Cheapest thing on the menu was a basket of fries for $8. I got the Crab Nachos for MP of $19. The appetizer was on the expensive side for me, but damn was it good!!! I wish there was more than 5! Also tried the VK Honey
Belgian Strong Golden Ale, which was very tasty for $8. My friend tried the VK Orange Shandy, the Pretzel Bites, and French Onion soup, which she seemed to enjoy. There was a peanut butter cheesecake calling my name, but I resisted this time.

Went out for lunch with coworkers and the food was good. No complaints. We all would go there again. Two coworkers had salads with chicken and the amount of chicken was more than enough. Chicken sandwiches were good. One of us had the falafel sandwich and it was delicious.
