Another excellent meal and service at the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. The hostess at the front desk was friendly, engaging and accommodating. Our server was friendly and kept a check to make sure we needed for nothing. Food was delicious. I had the chicken Ceasar salad and my friend had the spicy Thai steak salad. My friends and I come here often. Its a great place for great food!!

The ambiance was great; the food was outstanding; our waitress was so attentive and amazing. The only thing that was unfortunate with our first time at White Dog was there was a party of ten at a table in the room that we were in. They were extremely loud most of the time so the dining experience was not that great - couldn't really talk to my husband except when they took it down a few notches. I'm glad they were having a good time but maybe that room should just be filled with tables of two and four - it wasn't a very big room. Otherwise - simply amazing!

I love the inside of the restaurant....always inviting, cozy, and interesting. The food is ok...bar food selection is the best, main meal selection is very limited The BiGGEST drawback is the PARKING! I should not have to circle around and around to find and jump into one of the limited spaces. I do NOT want to valet and have to wait and I do NOT want to park across the highway. Because of the parking and ok menu I mainly go to the White Dog, if one of my friends want to otherwise I am at Limoncello with plenty of parking and great food.

Food was pretty good. The sides that come with meals seem very skimpy! No bread offered - have to pay $10 for 4 rolls. Service was not the best. The atmosphere is really nice.

Always love their specialty cocktails. The pear pressure is delicious! And of course... Sam is an absolute delight. I don't believe I have ever seen a manager with such a presence and one who interacts with the clientele as Sam does. She's the best!

I had been to the original White Dog Cafe in Philly many years ago. I've also been to Vicker's at this location before White Dog took over. This spot is nowhere near the same as either of those two. We had lunch at White Dog (Chester Springs) about a year ago. From what I remember, it was pretty decent. Made dinner reservations this morning. We arrived on time. The hostess seemed very nice, and we were seated within a few minutes. Our waitress was very nice. My wife ordered the eggplant parm and I ordered the filet mignon ($57). It's not about the money. If it were, I wouldn't have ordered the steak. It's about getting what you pay for. The food came out fairly quickly. I cut my steak in half to check to see if it was cooked medium rare, like I requested. It was. However, the steak was a kind of chewy and very dry, which is not what I was expecting for a filet mignon at that price point. I ate it, but it wasn't enjoyable at all. The manager came to check on us a few minutes after the entrees arrived. I didn't want to get into it with him. In hindsight, I probably should have asked for a different entree. Anyway, this was not an enjoyable dining experience at all. Probably won't return.

After I took the time to write a review on open table, the manager thanked me for my comments, and then insulted me by sending a gift certificate for a small fraction of the cost of the meal, a meal that did not include alcohol. Came here for dinner and decided to get a bunch of appetizers, everything was awesome! Chris was our server and he was so helpful when helping us decide what to choose and giving us recommendations. The atmosphere in both the outside and indoor seating is great and the menu has a very wide range of foods that I can’t wait to go back and try!
