I never had the opportunity to visit the original Gin's, but the redone space is fabulous! There are several outdoor patios, pool table and game room, area for live music, huge bar, lots of seating and delicious food. I enjoy that almost every night has a long-standing special. When I visited, it was steak night, and my dish was cooked perfectly. I look forward to going back to try out many more things on the menu. My only gripe is that the live music can make it very hard...
Only got the chicken bites, which were a little over done, but really good tasting. Also got a cheeseburger, which was excellent, far as the atmosphere it was later in the evening and the dining room wasn't very busy. Far as the service I felt like it was towards the end of the night and the waitresses only checked on us once during the meal and we had to wait a bit to get the check. But gave her a $20 tip on a $50 bill. Not complaining just didn't deserve a 5-star rating,...
The service was very friendly and fast and the food was also good. We particularly liked the soft pretzel, fried pickles, and the pulled pork sandwich.
