I got the gf cinnamon knots. They must have been hot because they burned into the styrofoam container and it melted into the knots.

Was stoked to see this place appear on happy cow. First pizza place in the area to offer vegan fair. Apparently the place is run by a Sicilian and I was shamed for asking for pineapple (it’s a constant craving and I’m not sorry).
My dad got a “normal” pepperoni pizza and I got a vegan white pizza with sauce on the side. Even though I don’t usually like thin crust, it was good. The perfect amount of chewy even once cold.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting this spot again.

We came in to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday eve. It was not busy at all and there was another table finishing up and then another table of 2 and we were 6. We all ordered and they never brought out one of our meals so my friend sat there without a meal. They did not charge for his meal and gave it to him to take away which was what they should do. If it was busy I could understand but it was not at all. I came for the gluten-free menu but wish we chose another restaurant. I have never had that happen before. Disappointed.

Went there tonight with my husband. I have a lot of different food allergies but the waitress and staff was so accommodating to each one alongside great service. It's really hard not being able to eat out a lot of places but I'm excited to say I can here. I don't remember the waitresses name (she said she usually works Tuesday's not Sunday's and has been there 8 years) she was phenomenal and answered all of my questions to make it a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you Arosso's!

I ordered eggplant rollatini and I might as well ordered leather . The eggplant was bitter and very much undercooked. It was awful !!! The salad on the side was 2 pieces of brown wilted lettuce . What a sad waste of money . First time I ordered from here and never ever again !!!!!!

Was so stoked to see this place pop up on happy cow, it’s the first pizza spot in the area to offer vegan items! This place is run by a Sicilian, and I was shamed for asking for pineapple. Though I’m not usually a fan of thin crust, it was good. Nothing overly exciting but nothing gross or weird. Would have liked more vegan protein options (they offer “steak” or “chicken”) but for now I’m happy there’s any! I will definitely be back with friends.
Ordered take out. Platters were done but had to wait over 10 minutes for the pizza. Got the food home to find our order was wrong. Ordered curly fries with old bay and received plain regular fries. The platter that we have been ordering for years was about half the size as usual and cold since it was done so much earlier than the pizza.

We ordered take out and was disappointed in the quality of the food. When I picked up the food the platters were ready but had to wait over 10 minutes for the pizza. When I got home I found the old bay curly fries were plain fries and cold and soggy. The house special platter that we have been ordering for years was about half the portion and was cold from having to sit while the pizza cooked. Spent a lot of money to be disappointed.
Former employee, food is good and kitchen staff/servers work hard the issue is with the owner specifically. Very verbally abusive environment. He pays under the table which means he pays us whenever he sees fit not weekly as was promised during hiring. When you bring this up to him he gets angry at us like we’re the problem for asking for our pay. I’ve witnessed him stealing tips from the servers up front he’ll hide the receipt in the stack of receipts and staple them together so that we’re unable to access the receipt to see the tip amount. He is never there in the mornings which is difficult when vendors are dropping supplies off expecting payments but he’s not in. Overall waiting weeks for pay was why I had to leave and the verbally abusive environment on top of that just made the job not worth it anymore

I love this place but recently I have been disappointed as the portion sizes went down and the prices went up. I wouldn’t mind paying the prices if the size and quality was how it used to be.

Amazing vegan pizza, wings and cutlet hoagie!
Today, my fiance' and myself decided to go to Arosso, touch of Italy Italian restaurant. When we lived in the area, we could only eat here, because of Celiac's disease. It's probably been close to two years since we have been here, and were looking forward to this as a treat. Upon ordering I was a little taken back by the new extreme shrink-flated prices. But I also understand that they need to make a living too. So if the food is worth it, then it's not a problem.
We ordered a GF ham and cheese stromboli and a GF Chicken Quesadilla with fries. The stromboli was 32.00 and the quesadilla was 16.00. When I say there was two bites of ham and 4 bites with cheese in little more than half of the stromboli, I'm being extremely generous. I wrote this review from an exact point of view and not my opinion on the situation. You be the judge!, I must warn you, the pictures are very graphic! Would you pay 50.00 for these two items? When we asked the person inside, she said we got exactly what we are supposed to get. Personally I would have been embarrassed to hand this food to my customers.
Update: the picture of the Stromboli is of the middle section. The ends were all dough and then just some cheese for a couple of inches.
I went to Weis market and bought the new GF wheat flour. I made a pretzel stromboli with ham and cheese. Fresh mozzarella cheese from the cheese area of the deli and fresh chopped ham. The ham was Kreshmar off the bone masterpiece ham.
The total it cost me was just under 15.00 in materials for high end products. Which leads me to believe there was less than 10.00 invested into my dinner that night at Arosso. With a 33% x 3 rule for restaurants. That means at 33.00 for a stromboli, 11.00 for materials, 11.00 for labor and 11.00 for profit is the goal. You be the judge? If I could make it bigger, better, with higher end products. I know these must be very profitable. I will add photos of homemade strombolis, next time I make them, to show the difference between what we use to receive here and what we get now.

An overall disappointing experience. To spend nearly $60 on bland food is one of the most annoying things to experience but to have it be bland and a laughably small serving size is adding insult to injury. On one hand, I applaud them for recognizing their food’s shortcomings and not loading you up on food that will inevitably be wasted. On the other hand, it was $60 and if you’re going to charge me that much then you either have to deliver with excellent food and a small portion size or bland food with incredibly large portion. This place does neither. I won’t be returning and neither will the two people I shared the takeout with. On another note, I’ve seen the owner justifying the extra charge for gluten free food. I get it, gluten-free does force an establishment to raise their prices by a few dollars. That’s common sense. But to raise your small sandwich by $8 for this allergy is highway robbery and absolutely, unequivocally taking advantage of those who are gluten-sensitive. There’s a plethora of other reasonably priced establishments that offer gluten-free options that won’t gouge you. Go visit them if you are gluten-free.

Tried this place solely for the GF menu for my daughter, she was happy to have a calzone which was just ok, but our GF bar is low, my ribeye salad was disappointing, so much gristle, cut in big thick slabs, 2 house salads no dressing choice, and my other daughter’s entree-Pasta ala Penne(?) was completely not as described and not good, but were told it was correct, service was just ok-they werent busy at all….maybe its a better pizza place.
