Slack's is a family staple, my late Aunt Annette, the entire family get's together each year at Valley Green for a picnic on the bench my Uncle Joe, her sisters husband built over 15 years ago! Each year we go to Slack's and enjoy an awesome meal as a Family, never disappointed and their customer service is always top notch. Thank You Slack's Hoagie Shack

Good food, and friendly service no matter when you go!Just went back today - great hoagie!Also worth noting that this location clearly states that someone who is homeless or in a bad way can come in and get something to eat any time they are open - a class act all the way around!

Hoagie and football. Great combo. Stumbled on this place when looking for a hoagie place since my favorites are normally closed on Sunday. So why not try a hoagie shack.I ordered takeout via the website which was pretty seamless. Upon entering the place was empty. I walked to the counter and there were two employees making fries and one typing on the computer. Waiting to be greeted or asked for help I grabbed some chips to pair with my sandwich and placed it on the counter. And still no look or any sort of acknowledgement from any of the employees. They knew I was there but they were distracted so I waited patiently. After about 5 mins a gentleman asked if he can help and I said I'm here for a pickup.He went grabbed my order and I paid. I showed him my check in coupon for a free fountain drink. He called what he said was his manager and explained to her I have a coupon which clearly states the business name and location, and she replied "we don't have anything like that". Ok. Cool. I didn't argue I grabbed my food and thanked them. I wanted to get the service portion out of the way because I wanted to be fair with the food as standalone since it was takeout and I don't know how the dine in experience is but one can only guessThey have sticker branding on the hoagie wrap which is cool. I opened and noticed the seeded roll which was fresh and soft. When i split the sub to see the contents it was far from properly proportioned and honestly looked like two totally different sandwiches. When I opened one was full with onions to the point I had to take some off, and I love onions! But this was too much. When I ate the bread was soft had nice texture but the sandwich itself was bland. I tasted more onions than anything. The meat was just there for texture and there wasn't a lot of it. No kick from the Capicola no tang from the Genoa. It was underwhelming. I had banana peppers on the side which when I added still couldn't save it. To be named a hoagie shack and get served a disproportioned tasteless sub just resulted in disappointment. I had some great hoagies so in context my bar is set pretty high but this place even with the convenient close location will not be seeing my business going forward. Gave it a extra star for the bread. Hope your experience goes better than mines

I love Slacks Hoagie Shack, especially this location. The food is great, but the staff is wonderful. We are always greeted nicely and our orders are correct. I like eating at the location when we can. The Italian Hoagie and Cheesesteaks are my favorite items on the menu, but I've had the wraps which are also delicious.I appreciate this location, because they also give back to the community and will take care of people struggling and in need of a meal. It is a good cause and I'm happy to see local businesses like Slacks helping where they can.

Without having to go all the way into Philly, this was one of the best cheesesteak experiences ever after a day at Sesame Place. The bread used for the cheesesteaks was amazing. Fries were also nicely battered.
This is supposed to be a grilled chicken wrap. It’s 99% lettuce. For the price I would’ve expected at least as much chicken as Wawa would give you. The little amount that is in there is sliced thin and is tasteless. What you see of the chicken in this photo is ALL of the chicken in the wrap. Both sides were like this. I used to love Slacks years ago but after this we are not returning. Also ordered a cheesesteak and fiancé said it tasted slightly less tasty than a Wawa one and as he puts it “that’s saying a lot” so all in all we are out and saying goodbye to an old favorite.Standard style boardwalk fries were delicious. Sadly not enough on its own to return though.

I'm an OTR truck driver. Stopped in here for a couple of sandwiches. Got the medium. Turns out you can get 4 meals doing that. Good food for a good price
