The food was delicious and I loved the seafood cakes. The service was right on. Had a specialty drink that was delicious. The menu was a great change from the local menu's. Enjoyed everything. They also added an outdoor patio, that I'll be trying next visit.

We have been coming here for over a decade, but the last few visits has not gone well. From burnt black onion-rings being brought to our table ,to waiting 25 minutes at the bar to pick up a togo, and now watching tables seated after us get there food. It doesn't take 50 minutes to make a few orders of wings,which the table next to us got theirs . They ordered way after we did. Combo find out the never even started them till the 3rd time our server told us they were coming. So we get them to go, and yeah the were rushed over cooked and one of the flavors is unrecognizable. We will not be going back.

No more coming to your restaurant. Poor service. We always enjoyed eating here. We came in for the wing special. 55 mins later still no wings. Table near us came in after us and ordered after us, they got their wings in 30 mins as we sit and wait. Same waitress waited on us that waited on them. Will not be back.

Decided to go here for lunch, haven't been here in 10 years. Still great food! I had the Walleye basket and my Wife got the Bangin Shrimp!! Always a favorite spot!!

Just moved to Fairview and everyone said this is the best spot to eat in town. This place was so good! Our server was so kind and accommodating very honest and the food was so good. The backyard bbq plate is some of the best food I’ve ever had! Fresh homemade ingredients the meat just melts in your mouth! Will definitely eat here again! Thank you Avonia tavern!

A wonderful experience while visiting Erie.
Some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. We were seated immediately and various attentive wait staff checked in often with our table.
The food was very good. Fresh salad with housemade ranch; the fish and chips were fantastic. Our kids especially enjoyed the Bavarian pretzels and cheese.
The pricing is very reasonable as well. Will certainly return if the opportunity presents. Wish this establishment was nearby home.
Insanely delicious. The Mac N’ Ribs was unreal.
