I grew up in Fairview. When Sabo's opened...the uniqueness of the crust, sauce, and everything was perfect. Every chance I get to take a day trip up, I do to just relive some of my youth. I drive from Pittsburgh to get a slice of the past. I have never had a bad service from this place. The staff have always been great, and the food has never left me wanting more. I am glad to see they are still up and going. I will be in the area next month and plan again to wet my whistle with Sabos for my trip home.

I have allergies to soy , dairy and eggs . So when I asked what oils were used I was told its a secret ,I explained about my allergies and said perhaps the owner can make a list for the employees so when someone like me asks is there soy in the sauce they can say yes or no without having to say its a secret.... Other then that service was great.

Fantastic calzone I couldn't find a single thing to complain about highly recommend
Ordered hoagies this visit. Two Philly steak and cheese. My grandson asked them to hold the onions and peppers, and they could not as the mixture is already put together. Holding the peppers and onions kind of defeats the whole idea of a Philly steak, but that's what he wanted. He ended up getting it and enjoying the meal anyway. But what concerned me a bit was the fact that it wasn't made fresh and to order and that they couldn't leave it off. The sandwiches were great, and I would recommend them. The service was quick and friendly.
