Nice down home atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. If they had eggs benedict on the menu I would have gone 5 stars!

I'd like to start off and say the staff was extremely friendly. The food was fairly standard as far as diners go. I definitely enjoyed it, but there was some issues with the kitchen staff and the waitresses knowing what food was available and what was not. Two items that we ordered were not available and we were not informed until after the waitress had gone away for several minutes and came back. both of those occurrences actually happened separately one with an appetizer and one with a main meal.

I've been meaning to check this restaurant out but always forget about it when we're hiking in the area but after seeing an article on Facebook about the place I knew we had to make a point of going right away. There are a couple of tables outside which is great because we usually have our golden retriever with us so we'll take advantage of that once the weather permits in the spring. The inside of the place is so cute - farmhouse style decor that makes you feel like you're at home, hubby took note that the long bench on the wall appeared to be from a church. Our server Kirsten was very attentive but it appeared that everyone seems to pitch in to help each other out, including management. For lunch hubby and I got a bowl of the Chicken & Rice Soup and the Ham & Cheese Grilled Cheese with fries and split everything. The soup was absolutely delicious - creamy and filled with veggies and chunks of chicken and the grilled cheese was amazing - grilled parmesan crusted sourdough bread (think Texas Toast) with Havarti cheese and country ham, best grilled cheese I have ever had, and the fries were yummy to, cooked to order and piping hot. The unsweetened ice tea seemed a bit on the strong side but no biggie. I wish this place was closer to our house because they have lots of awesome dinner specials each night of the week and everyday they post their special and soups of the day on social media which is really nice.

Food is delicious! Kimmy and her staff are very friendly and helpful. Portions are generous and everything homemade. Good for carry-out or eat-in. Hard to pick from menu because of so many tasty choices! Will definitely be back!!

What a great little find. Atmosphere, service, and food were all phenomenal. Worth a little trip for a great meal paired with a delicious beer from their neighbors, South County Brewing. Can't wait to come back.
