Great beer. Nearby restaurant is now open. Seafood and crabs to come. Beer always good. Worth the trip.

First time visiting, was in the area and my wife picked it from Yelp. The good - gorgeous facilities, broad selection of beers, decent menu variety. At the end of our meal we were definitely full... we had the chili, the brisket platter w a 1/2 chicken and the Mac n cheese. The so-so - the building was freezing, the waitress said it was because there were only one set of vents for heating and cooling and they were about 30' in the air... lots of people with their coats on. - The cornbread had an odd taste that my wife called "dish soap flavor". Asked the waitress if there was lavender or other strong ingredient but she had no idea and said there's a new pastry chef. - The menu says "1/2 chicken" but seriously, it could easily be confused for a quail... ( see photos ). That said, the smoke flavor on it was excellent.

Absolute best beer around (IMHO, with Evergrain a close second). Specialize in New England (lots of Hazy IPA and PAs). Food is good too. And the brewhaus is impressive!

Loved the beer here. Bartender was friendly. They didn't have food at this location so I'd like to try the York location.

All the pale ales and IPAs here are some of the best you'll ever have.

They're pretty good for such young-uns in the game.I always look for drinkability in an American lager. A bit too tasty for a 4.2 abv. Good move with the rice. Keep up the good work ?

Stopped in with a party of three to get a beer and some lite fare. First let me say this is a gorgeous facility. The decor is plank live edge wood tables, large fireplace, high ceilings with huge chandeliers, a glass view of the impressive brewing area and several bars. The food however was lackluster. Remember we were looking for lite fare and had a limited selection. The Onion Soup ranks among the worst I have ever had. You don't mess with Onion Soup as it is a tried and true standard. They added some strange citrus flavoring that in an attempt to be creative ruins the experience, along with burnt black pieces of Onion and brick hard croutons combined with minimal amount of cheese. The pizza, although obviously brick oven fired was bland and tasteless. The beer was good, which is why you go to a Brewery. So in short, go for the beer but eat elsewhere. They also have a large selection of canned brews in a large refrigerated cooler.

My husband and I enjoy this place very much. We have only been to the Leaders Height location. Once for lunch (not a fan) and twice for dinner. Our second time for dinner we had brought our 2 daughters with us. One is extremely picky and only ordered the fries. Our older daughter is an extreme food critic and is also neurodivergent, so naturally it took her quite some time to make a decision. She also asked our server several questions. His name was Chris. He was so patient and understanding with us and especially ny daughter. He could clearly see how overwhelmed and unsure she was was about herself and the menu. He assured her that if she was not happy, not to worry. Our food came out and she seemed to enjoy it, but all it took was one bite to ruin it. We have no idea what triggered it, but Chris was a trooper and assisted us with figuring out what could be done since she did eat almost half before that trigger.South County Brewing Co. did not have to remove her meal, but did. We are forever grateful for Chris and the patience he had with us.He is definitely a 5 star team member in my book! I will definitely ask for him next time I go. Not to get a free meal, but because of his passion and understanding for people who struggle.

The OG. The new place in York is nice. Lotta money into it, and well-deserved. It's basically got a huge ski lodge thing going on. But their beer and music from the beginning was based on like Psychedelia and Stoner Rock... that's how I found them years ago like whoa! So that swift shift to yuppifying things is a little odd. I still like this spot/taproom whatever better.

Decided to get in a mid-winter February moto ride, which usally never happens and check this place out.Great little bar space. Great beers and guy really knows his stuff. Nice selection too. They don't serve food, but place right beside them delivers to you at the bar. Nice little arrangement. I'd highly recommend checking them out.
