So we did a late lunch early dinner stop 3:45 an was given the option of chicken or chicken.(sold out on everything else) But when I say it was worth it in every way I mean it!! We got pulled chicken platters with baked beans an sides. The food was stellar and plentiful! I can not say enough good about our first experience. Whenever we are in the area we will be stopping by with our two pups.

First time trying 65 South BBQ & it was nothing short of AMAZING! The brisket melts in your mouth, the service was great & don’t even get me started on the baked beans & mac. Definitely will be coming back!

This place is a secret gem on RT. 30 E. The brisket and ribs are so juicy, tender, and fall off the bone. The baked beans and Mac & cheese are also delicious! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you must! Seriously the BEST I’ve ever had. The service is amazing as well.

Wow this brisket ! Went here on the recommendation of Jim the “innkeeper “ of the quarry gap shelter and boy did I stumble on a gem ! The brisket was thick juicy smoky just right amount of fat melted in my mouth ( too fast ) ! Husband and wife bussiness very courteous and dedicated ! Will be back !

We have had BBQ all over the states and this place is one of the best we have ever had. The ribs were fall of the bone. The brisket and pulled pork melted in your mouth. The sides are full of flavor. We will definitely make this place a regular stop when we are out hiking.

My coworker picked up lunch for us yesterday while we were prepping for service and the food she brought back was top notch! My brisket sandwich was piled high with thick sliced brisket with a perfect smoke ring. The sides of coleslaw and bake beans were also great. Happy I finally got to try it out!

My family and I were going to stop by and try some BBQ. Unfortunately they were sold out. Contemplating our next move in the parking lot, a young man came out to talk to us. He apologized and offered us a rack of ribs "if we would like them." We accepted and offered what we had in cash but he didn't want it. Let me say, as a Chef for various restaurants, that customer service was impeccable. I have yet to try the ribs but I will return again to sample other offerings. Thank you to the mystery rib man! What he didn't know was this was my wife and I's Anniversary. Awesome job guys.
Great food, Brisket is exceptional. The sign says 11 to Sold Out, Thurs-Sun. Better get here early or call ahead. The food is worth it.

BEST BARBECUE EVER! Justin is an absolute master at smoking barbecue, & we customers benefit from it. The barbecued ribs are absolute perfection. Juicy & flavorful & fall-off-the-bone delicious. Our favorite sides to go along with the ribs are the baked beans & cole slaw. Both are excellent. Another big plus is that Justin & Melissa are both warm & highly personable young people who are attentive & go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. This place is terrific!
