Had to give low service because apparently the new cook was having trouble figuring out the difference between green pepper and jalapeños!!!! Don't know if they were new or just standing in.....

Can't really give this an honest review. We were tired and hungry and thought we would give this a try on our 3 hr drive home. It was 830 and the sign said they closed at 10. A doorbell went off when we went inside, but we saw no one around. We stood by the desk that said "Please Wait to Be Seated". The place was empty. There seemed to be someone making noise back in the kitchen, but I don't make it a habit of wandering back into the kitchen of restaurants. After standing there for 5 minutes we decided to go. The door bell rang again as we left. I saw someone looking out of the restaurant door at us as we went to our car, but they didn't seem to have any interest in us. Guess we'll never know if they have good food or not.

The food was ok. We had subs..... but they didn't listen to the order. It was all messed up. Stuff we said to add was not added at all. One was completely different. I didn't have anything but meat in it. Was cheese steak subs. The, when I got there It took the young guy 15 minutes before even asking me what I needed. And there was no one there but one other customer, and he was done.Kid kept checking his phone 4 times before i got taken care of.And I saw our order sitting on top of the one machine.Ordered here because Tommy's subs are on the small size.Well, I will just order Tommy's in Gettysburg for now on.Place used to be way way better than this.Disappointed ?

Best pizza in the Chambersburg / Fayetteville area. Also, be sure to try the steak & cheese boli. You can get 2 meals from the small size boli!The menu is extensive with very reasonable prices. The owner the entire staff are super friendly and welcoming. We often have Jeanie for our server. Jeanie is very attentive to the needs of her customers, she’s one of the friendliest servers we’ve ever had in a South Central PA restaurant. It’s easy to notice that Jeanie takes great pride in her work. In fact, Jeanie deserves a pay raise!If you give La Bella Restaurant a try and have Jeanie as your server, you won’t be disappointed.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!On a subsequent visit, I had the most amazing steak & cheese Stromboli. As usual, the owner was right there and visibly present to supervise everything. Our server, Kayla took great care of us even though she was handling the entire dining room solo. Quaint restaurant off of 30. It was fairly clean. Nothing fancy, it is what you would expect to see in the area, but it is a very cozy place to eat. The service was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress was very welcoming as it was our first visit. Our food was prepared quickly. It tasted good and was hot. I enjoyed the 12" chicken steak (without cheese.) The meat portion was abundant and it was cooked well; not hard/dry. The bread was homemade, fluffy, and has a nice, savory taste. It is a very generous portion, which I appreciated. The water was drinkable and didn't have the normal taste of the water in the area, which is a good thing. We will visit again when we need a meal to pass the time in the area.
